This is the first time in my Splinterlands career that I have made it to the Champion League.
Last Season I failed by 2 points a few hours before the season end. I then fell back a few hundred and could not make it back up but this time I have succeeded with a day to spare.
Those 80 loot chests are a nice bonus but I like the prestige a bit better. That sense of achievement that comes with reaching a goal.
On top of that I did it all with Lvl 6 summoners. Not one maxed out card in the whole deck. So I doubt I will be able to play in the top 50 to get some extra card packs but I still managed to rank 360 in the "world"
Does anyone know how many people are playing the game?
Just to have an idea of how good that placing is?
Last I know there were a little over 2000 but that's a while back now.
I am also still saving up my DEC to buy those land pieces in the next upgrade and am close to that 100k.
So keep on playing... the fun has just begun
I think you're doing pretty good with L6s - I've got a few L8s and can't get into Champions 2 for the life of me. Well I probably could, but I just can't be arsed to play that many games!
Come up against maxed decks too frequently.
While I'm here, what's the approximate return on investment on the Dcity game?
How much does one need to spend to get into the top 100 or so and start earning one hive a day?!?
I got lucky and managed to get some stuff early enough on that put me there but I am falling down slowly as I am just reinvesting my SIM and not my HIVE or STEEM (it pays both).
I have 282 cards in total but there are quite (for me about 100 cards) some immigrant and homeless cards in there (those come for free)
SO 190 Cards would get you there for sure but its probably a lot cheaper depending on the number of apartments you get

hey man good job. Last season I did the same so... I was also only using level six summoners. Mostly dragons, and fire. I'm looking at your posts. I had to say. I love the real bitcoin. Coming from someone else that's getting money. Than I got lost In all the Splinter pics. Although I'm really Into Gods Unchained atm
