While the current season of Splinterlands is ongoing So in the game, I have managed to enter the Diamond Three league with a rating of 3000, and I need another 100 rating to enter the Diamond Two League. This is a journey that I continue to go ahead and increase my rating down the line, which helps me to increase my league as well. Since I currently play in the Diamond Three League so the next stop for me is going to be Diamond 2, and this gap is not too long because a 100 rating is enough for me to take me there.
From last few months I have been playing in the Wild format of the game and still I have no plan to switch to Modern even though I know about the reward which is higher in modern league but still I'm happy playing in the wild format where I need to play for the past and it's a mandatory requirement for anyone to play in the wild format. If you play in the modern format of the game, there is no such requirement and you will be getting higher percentage of the reward as well however the problem is that you will not be getting a lot of cards on the rental market and I have tried it already so this is the reason why I have not decided to move to the model for now.
My gameplay is primarily dependent upon the cards that I take on the rent, and for the wild format, I can take any card because each card is accepted there. But in modern, that is not the case, and you need cards from specific editions to be played in this format of the battles.
I keep on playing in this format of the game, which is called Wild, and I will continue to do this because it helps me to utilise any version of cars in the game, and all those cards are available in the rental market at reasonable prices. Even if I pay more for the cards than for modern edition cards, availability is A concern, and there are many cards which are not available for the rental. And it may be because a lot of people are using their own cards for their own battles rather than renting them on the market for some other players. Rental is a very good segment of the game where people who have not invested in the cards can take the cards on lease and continue to play the same way that other players are doing.
The only difference is that every season we have to pay the charges for the rental whatever cards we take on the rent and it is valid only for the current season so once the season is over then one has to renew the cards and it takes time because there is no direct way to get all the cards renew in a single click And I spend this time every season but that's OK because now I'm familiar with the entire process and kind of settled with the thought that after the season end I need to spend a few hours on the Peak Monster website to get the renewals done for the rented cards.
I noticed that there are some changes to the colour theme in the game, which is a kind of some cosmetic changes in the game, and it is good because this offers a refreshed experience to the players. Some of the game options are also upgraded, where we can also see the winning ratio, which I think is a great option because earlier it was not visible, but now I know how I am doing in the game. A couple of weeks back, I was below 42% in terms of the winning ratio, but now it has improved, and I am at 48% which you can say that it's pretty much close to 50% but even to cover this 2% it is going to take time.
I don't know how much time it will take for me to make it 50% winning ratio but I am on it and I don't know about the time but still I will continue to play the way I have been doing because I enjoy the game and every battle is a fun and experiment for me so winning ratio is something that I am not much concerned about however I would be happy to improve it but it will happen organically.
