If you like challenging monster games, Soulkeep is a game you'll love. When I first started playing, I thought it would be easy like any other game but I quickly discovered that combat here required high planning as the path to the Gate was very short and the Fiends were fast and you have to stop them.
A Strong Start with Gloom Owl
The first tower we all tried was Gloom Owl and it proved to be a very distinctive tower from the get-go. The most important thing about it is that it doesn't consume a lot of mana as it only requires 60 mana to use. It's also inexpensive to upgrade with only 80 mana which gives it a huge advantage compared to other towers that require much more resources.
One of the things that made me love this tower is that it's effective against all types of monsters especially Flying Fiends who are very annoying and always try to escape your defenses. This tower can kill them and slow their advance giving other defenses the opportunity to eliminate them before they reach their goal.
Soulkeep isn't just about placing towers and that's it as You need to plan carefully and choose the right positions for each tower. Because Fiends are fast and the path is short any small mistake can cost you a level. Every time I play I feel like I need to come up with new strategies as which is what makes the game fun and different in every level.
Honestly, Soulkeep is a fantastic game for anyone who loves a challenge and planning, and I'm very excited to discover more towers and see how I can develop my strategy to become stronger and better in future matches.
