One more week and we couldn't miss the Splinterlands challenge which is less than two days away from the end of the season. This week's "BATTLE MAGE SECRETS Weekly Challenge" and therefore, the selected Battle Rule is: "Going the Distance" and as its name indicates, only cards of the Attack Range type can be used, being this a quite complex aspect since cards of this type cannot attack from the first position unless they have an ability that allows it or a specific Battle Rule is active that also allows such action. So many times, at least personally, it is difficult for me to put together a strategy that adapts very well to this type of battles, but I think that the battle I will show you next meets the expected expectations very well. So without further ado, this is the battle of the day with the "Going the Distance" Battle Rule:
For this battle it was of great importance to have a great advantage over my opponent, that is why my first option was to choose the summoner "NAME SPELLER", since his ability which consists of eliminating two (2) shield points of my opponent is a very advantageous factor for me, in case my opponent chose a summoner that could give shield to his cards or use a card that had many shield points, this way I could reduce the amount of shield. My first choice in this formation was: VENARI MARKSRAT, because I simply placed this card in the first position to be used as "cannon fodder" and thus be able to empower the next card in the formation thanks to its ability "Martyr" and it was a good strategy.
GARGOYA DEVIL was boosted due to the activation of the aforementioned ability and therefore, thanks to the sacrifice of VENARI MARKSRAT, also, having placed GARGOYA DEVIL in second position was a great advantage since this card has the ability "Close Range" which allows it to attack from first position.
Continuing with the strategy, in third position is: CHILD OF THE FOREST, which is one of two cards of this formation that have the "Snipe" ability, which is an ability that in this type of battle is very important and in turn is decisive for a victory.
CENTAUR is the second card that has the "Snipe" ability, as I mentioned before. This card is one of the oldest in my collection and one of those cards that I still keep using in my strategies, maybe not as much as a few years ago, but still, when needed, it is very useful.
And to close the formation and also to boost the speed score of my cards is in last position: Supply Runner, which is a card that I have been using a lot in my strategies, as well as being very useful because of its ability, at a general level as far as stats are concerned, it is a very competent card.
Una semana más y no podía faltar el reto de Splinterlands el cual, está a tan solo menos de dos días del final te temporada. El “BATTLE MAGE SECRETS Weekly Challenge” de esta semana y por ende, la Regla de Batalla seleccionada es: “Going the Distance” y como su nombre lo indica, tan solo se podrán utilizar cartas del tipo Ataque Rango, siendo este un aspecto bastante complejo ya que las cartas de este tipo no pueden atacar desde la primera posición a menos que tenga una habilidad que lo permita o esté activa alguna Regla de Batalla en específico que de igual manera permita dicha acción. Por lo que muchas veces, al menos en lo personal, se me hace complicado armar una estrategia que se adapte muy bien a este tipo de batallas, pero creo que la batalla que les mostraré a continuación cumple muy bien con las expectativas esperadas. Así que sin más dilación, esta es la batalla del día con la Regla de Batalla “Going the Distance”:
Para esta batalla era de gran importancia tener mucha ventaja ante mi contrincante, es por eso que mi primera opción fue elegir al invocador “NOMBRE INVOCADOR”, ya que su habilidad la cual consiste en eliminar dos (2) puntos de escudo de mi contrincante es un factor muy ventajoso para mí, en caso de que mi contrincante eligiese algún invocador que le pudiera otorgar escudo a sus cartas o utilizar alguna carta que tuviera muchos puntos de escudo, de esta manera le pudiera reducir dicha cantidad de escudo. Mi primera opción en esta formación fue: VENARI MARKSRAT, ya que simplemente coloque esta carta en primera posición para que sea usada como “carne de cañon” y de esta forma poder potenciar a la siguiente carta en la formación gracias a su habilidad “Martyr” y fue una buena estrategia.
Ya que GARGOYA DEVIL se potencio debido a la activación de esta dicha antes mencionada habilidad y por ende, gracias al sacrificio de VENARI MARKSRAT, además, haber colocado a GARGOYA DEVIL en segunda posición fue una gran ventaja ya que esta carta posee la habilidad “Close Range” lo que le permite poder atacar desde primera posición.
Continuando con la estrategia, en tercera posición se encuentra: CHILD OF THE FOREST, la cual es una de dos cartas de esta formación que cuentan con la habilidad “Snipe”, la cual es una habilidad que en este tipo de batalla es muy importante y a su vez es determinante para una victoria.
CENTAUR es la segunda carta que cuenta con la habilidad “Snipe”, como mencione anteriormente. Esta cartas es una de mis más antiguas de mi colección y una de esas cartas que aun mantengo usando en mis estrategias, quizás ya no tanto como hace algunos años atrás, pero igualmente cuando se necesita, es de gran utilidad.
Y para cerrar la formación y para también potenciar el puntaje de velocidad de mis cartas se encuentra en última posición: Supply Runner, la cual es una carta que he estado utilizando muchísimo en mis estrategias, ya que además de ser muy útil debido a su habilidad, a nivel general en lo que a stats respecta, es una carta muy competente.
