Share Your Battle Challenge : Tenyii Striker Strikes Hard With His Shining Steel.

in Splinterlands2 years ago (edited)

Hey there my incredible Splinterlands community,
How are you all today? I hope you're doing great with Splinterlands battles.

The season-ending is near and I'm very excited about the promotion to the higher league, the Diamond League.
This is the highest league I reached in a while.

The competition is fierce, and the winnings are less, but I'm very hopeful about the rewards I'll get in this season.

Anyway, the Splinterlands team brought another 'Share Your Battle Challenge' and this week's featured card is TENYII STRIKER.

As always, I'll share my best battle of this week using the Tenyii Striker in my team.
I'll also share my strategy, team combination, and thoughts about the Tenyii Striker.

So, read on...

BATTLE STATS AND ABILITIES OF THE TENYII STRIKER

Before I share my strategy and the battle, let's talk about the stats and abilities of this card.

Tenyii Striker Stats.png

The Tenyii Striker is a Rare Fire unit card from the Chaos Legion edition.
This card costs 5 mana to use in the battle which makes this card a mid-mana-cost card.
Talking about the abilities, this melee attack monster has the 'sneak' ability starting from level 1, which makes this card able to perform attacks on the last monster instead of the first monster.
From level 4 it gains the 'dodge' ability. With this ability, it has an increased chance of evading melee and ranged attacks.
When it reaches level 7, the 'backfire' ability is applied. With this ability, if an enemy misses this monster with an attack, the attacker takes 2 damages.
Stats of this card also increases through levels, from 2 melee attacks, 2 speeds, and, 6 health in level 1, to 3 melee attacks, 3 speeds, and 6 health in level 4.
At the highest level, the stats of this card are 5 melee attacks, 4 speeds, and, 7 health.

What is the best ruleset and summoner to use Tenyii Striker ?

As it's a melee attack card, therefor the best rulesets to use Tenyii Striker are based on melee attacks, like 'up close and personal'.
Apart from that, we can use this melee attack card in any battle except the 'keep your distance' ruleset.
The other rulesets we can use this card successfully, are 'melee mayhem', 'odd ones out', 'unprotected' etc.
About the use of summoner, Tarsa is a good combo with this card as it increases its melee attack and health to +1.
Alternatively, the summoner Malric Inferno and the Daria Dragonscale from the Dragon splinter is also a good choice as it does the same buff +1 melee attack.

My Strategy and Team Setup

SUMMONER

YODIN ZAKU

Yodin Zaku.png

As all the ranged and magic attack monster has the snipe ability in this battle, I decided to use Yodin Zaku in this battle.
Along with 4 ranged attack cards, I used 2 melee attack cards too.

Did your strategy work? What will you try differently next time?

My strategy worked perfectly in this battle. The combination of melee attack monsters with ranged attack monsters synchronized well with the summoner Yodin Zaku.
The Supply Runner increased the speeds of the friendly monsters, therefor my team had the speed advantage in the battle.
With every ranged attack monster having snipe ability, they did additional blast damage to the adjacent enemy monsters of the target monster.
And the Tenyii Striker destroyed the enemy team from the backside with his sneak ability.
The battle was a good combination of sneak and snipe attacks with the blast ability provided by the summoner Yodin Zaku.
My team was unbeatable and tasted win as it was destined to.

My Takes On The Tenyii Striker

With the mid-mana cost of 5 and good melee attack power and health the Tenyii Striker is an excellent card from the Fire splinter.
Its sneak ability helps this card to attack the enemy team from behind.
Combine this card with Tarsa, Malric Inferno, or the Daria Dragonscale and it'll gain additional attack power.
I, personally, use this card in almost every battle that involved the Fire splinter.
