Land to me is like a separate game anyways, and isn't really for new players.
Yes, it's unlikely a new players of Splinterlands can afford to jump into land.
This change could be good for beginners though.
For a new player who starts now, after the game is already established, it's probably one of the only ways to catch their interest, if the player also likes the game and a growth approach for the account.
