Splinterlands has a new edition of cards and the pre-sale is already underway, this pre-sale was planned to last 30 days or until the stock of packs available for sale runs out, which are a total of 500,000 packs of which have already been sold to date more than half, leaving a total of: 204,322 for the delivery of this publication, so you are on time to get your packs.
On the Splinterlands website there is a countdown clock, in which you can see the remaining time for the pre-sale, so according to the clock at the time of this publication there are less than 15 days left to finish this first event.
There is a very interesting thing related to this pre-sale, and it is that if the day 0 established for the sale of these packs arrives and the totality has not been sold, the remaining packs will be burned taking them out of circulation, a very favorable point since it would be a quantity of packs that will not go to the market, minimizing the existence of packs.
Rebellion is the fifth basic edition of this wonderful game, and I could say that Splinterlands is in constant evolution what places it in the first places of the NFT play2ern games, all this added to the innovations and changes that brings this edition in relation to the previous ones.
Multi-Element Summoners & Summoner Tactics
Multi-Element Summoners
One of the innovations that the game introduces in this edition are the dual or multi-element summoners, something that has already been tested but with an ordinary card or battle monster like Syriana, however, with the summoners it is something different because in my opinion a summoner that can summon cards of two elements greatly expands the options available to the players.
This feature undoubtedly opens the range of possibilities in terms of the number of options you have to choose from in a battle, depending on the rule and the mana cost of the battle; although it is expected that not all summoners in this set will have this feature, it will surely be a great experience to have these summoners available.
In my opinion, at the beginning it will be a bit complex since having more options will require some time to adapt, obviously having more options will give you a wider field of information to handle, but it will be a matter of time for all top players to have mastery of these features.
The point of balance between the new summoners and the old ones will be the mana cost, a master move so that the summoners that we use now do not lose validity, since the new summoners will have a higher mana consumption, then the players will have to choose between using more cards or limit themselves to have a summoner that uses a higher amount of mana, this will be a conditioning factor in the battles that have little mana.
Summoner Tactics
Excellent move, summoner tactics is a feature that consists in giving the player the opportunity to choose which extra ability the summoner can add to the cards, it is no longer about adding +1 life or removing -1 attack and all the ones you know, now the player using one of these summoners will have the opportunity to choose in one minute which ability to add to one or all the team according to the information in the original post.
"For example, a summoner can choose between giving a single target the Shield skill or giving a whole team -1 ranged attack. After both players have revealed their teams, players who have chosen a Summoner with tactical options will see both teams laid out on the battlefield and will have an additional minute in which they can choose which tactic they want to use and which target(s) they should apply it to."
