My name is Ankus Kumar. I studied at an art school in India for a long time, and I can create beautiful paintings. I have loved art deeply since childhood. When I was studying at an art college in India, I first heard about Hive blogs.
One of my Indian friends used to post on Hive. I saw him sharing his artwork and talking about himself. He also posted about his gaming experiences. He told me about Hive back in 2018, but at that time, I didn’t pay much attention to it. Last year, I noticed that my friend is now a regular Hive user, and he has built a strong presence there. Initially, he used to rely on others for votes, but now, he supports many others by giving them upvotes.
Now, I understand that Hive blockchain is a truly great platform with excellent rules and a supportive community. That’s why, after all these years, I have finally decided to publish my first post on Hive.

My Passion for Art
Since I am an art college student, all my posts will primarily focus on art. However, over time, I will also share more about myself and my experiences.
Let me share an interesting incident from my art college days. When I first joined, there was a fresher’s welcome event. The seniors assigned the new students the task of creating artistic decorations for the college campus. I painted beautiful artworks on the walls and streets in my own unique style. That was my breakthrough moment! From then on, I never had to look back. Everyone recognized me by name, and my work earned me a lot of appreciation and love.
Even though I was not from their country, my friends valued me a lot. While my studies were focused on traditional art, our college did not offer digital art lessons. However, I took it upon myself to learn digital art, especially Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, entirely through YouTube tutorials. Today, I create high-quality digital artwork and even earn money online through my art.
My Splinterlands Art
The art I created today is inspired by Qid Yuff (Rare Fire Summoner), a character from the Splinterlands game.
I am particularly passionate about reworking art and designs. I love modifying existing artwork or designs using Photoshop and Illustrator. Whether it's changing elements, re-adding details, or performing cutting and pasting, I experiment with various techniques.
