Great Day Splinterfam!
How are you doing? Been a long time since my last post but I never stopped playing Splinterlands. Yeah, not obvious that I'm a big fan.
We know that Splinterlands really require some cards and sps rentals to play it decently and earn. Forgive me for saying this but it is far from a free to play game anymore.
So to those who doesnt want to waste time renting and want to play ranked and brawl at your own pace, I have some tips for you.
Over the years of constantly playing, I have accumulated some cards that I now use everyday. To those who want to start their own deck, here are some tips where to start. By the way I am usually playing in modern gold and sometimes diamond league.
What I did was choose the main splinters that I want to play, in this case: water, life, fire, neutral and dragon.
Always include neutral and dragon for flexibility. I also personally like water because of Kelya's speed and armor.
Now is the right time to buy since cards are on its lowest prices recently esp the very useful chaos edition.
For summoners: Quix (dragon), Kelya (water), Tarsa (fire), sloan and rathe (life). All of them must be max level.
Friends: as fillers for low mana caps, fiends are a necessity. So scorch, torrent and soul fiends (I dont have yet) should be in our collection. Max level is better for their added effects to the team.
Neutrals: chaos agent, supply runner, gargoya lion are also very useful.
I have also accumulated some sweet cards from the last reward edition although most of them are not at max levels. They are a bit pricey so I settled for 1 or 2 levels below max.
Then go ahead and buy the cheap chaos cards under those splinters and proceed with making your usual possible strategy in different situations.

I also have around 20,000 staked sps and I usually get around 3.3 to 5 sps and 240 to 400+ glints per win.
In one season of no renting, I can accumulate a total of around 70 to 80k glints.
