Greetings to all Splinterlands players! In today's topic in the Social Media Challenge is my most used cards in the Frontier Format. I have been playing the Frontier since it started. I enjoy playing with mostly similar cards as my opponent's and the battle is decided by our strategies. It's kinda like chess where I have the pieces as my opponent's and the game is decided by our opening and skill in the game. In chess, my favorite piece is the queen simply because of her power. In Splinterlands, there are a lot of cards and there is a collection part of it. The more cards and the more rare you own, the more satisfying it is. In the Frontier, these are the cards that I most use.
Water Element
The Water Element is my top favorite element. It's easiest to use in the Bronze level because of it's magic attack. Generally, magic attacks ignore armor and cannot be avoided.
Marlai Singariel
The Water archon is Marlai Singariel. She adds magic attack to all units. I already have two BCX of her. I need three more to level her up to two.
Water Logged Wizard
A rare magic attacker is the Water Logged Wizard. With the Water archon, her magic attack raises to two which is strong enough if you're a beginner in the game. Place her in the rear to avoid attacks but take note of units with Sneak or Opportunity skills.
Saltwater Mage
The best card in my Water element collection. The Saltwater Mage is an epic card that has two magic attacks. It will become three with the additional attack from the archon. This is very strong in Bronze. Additionally, she attacks rear units with her Sneak skill. The Saltwater Mage is not available in the Campaign Mode. You have to play the game and hope to get lucky to pull her from the reward chests.
Death Element
Next to Water, Death is the element I frequently use.
Thalgrimore
The Death Element debilitates the opponent's team. They can either decrease speed, attack or other skills. Thalgrimore decreases the opponent's life. This is useful in rulesets like Poison, Earthquake and Burning where more life stat is important.
Nim Guard Captain
I already have four BCX of the Nim Guard Captain. What makes him a good card is his Void Armor skill. It's a skill that counters magic, enabling his armor to block magic attacks. Normally, magic attacks ignore armor but because of Void Armor, it's possible to shield against magic.
Sorrow Harvester
I really like magic attackers. This is why Sorrow Harvester is one of my most used cards. She already has two magic attacks even without buffs. She also has Weaken skill, further decreasing the opponent's life.
Little Sister
Little Sister is a legendary card. She is also a magic attacker but with weaker one magic attack compared to Sorrow Harvester. Her skill adds 50% to her life everytime she damages the opponent. She is useful in rulesets that decrease life everyturn like Earthquake, Poison and Burning.
Neutral Element
Together with Water and Death, I use the Neutral element cards. They don't have an archon but they are meant to be used in addition to the five elements.
Vengeful Monk
A common card but very useful. The Vengeful Monk has two melee attacks. He is not a tank but he has Opportunity skill to strike at low life opponents.
Lunaki Howler
A disappointing card but I still use it for its magic attack. Lunaki Howler is an epic card but only one magic attack and no skill. I use this card with the Water Element to boost its magic attack.
Great Bear Druid
Another legendary card, Great Bear Druid attacks with magic and melee. It can take the role of tank. I use this card in high mana games because it has nine mana. It's also a good card to use in survival rulesets because it has a high life stats of six.
New Beluroc Aegis
Another card that I use in high mana games. New Beluroc Aegis has eight mana. It can be used as a second tank but his use is to draw attacks with his Taunt skill.
Spellmonger
I wrote about this card in last week's Community Engagement Challenge. Spellmonger has no attack but can do damage to melee attackers with his Thorns skill. A very useful card in your games to counter melee attackers.
Conclusion
Those are the cards I most use in the Water, Death and Neutral Elements. I also use Earth, Life and Fire in some cases and I will post about my most used cards in those elements.
Keep going! although I have a modern Silver deck, I also play frontier because it's fun to earn the rewards. I think Death is by far the most played team in the current meta
Death sure has its advantages. It has good cards including a legendary, Little Sister.
