Hello Splinterlands friends, these last months playing in Gold League and Wild Mode has helped me to understand which cards are fundamental in Splinterlands.
Cards that even being from the latest editions of the game, are at the height of the powerful cards of the first editions, and many of them will be of great value in the future.
Today I'm going to talk about one of them, a beastly creature that becomes more powerful the higher the level, its name is Chaos Dragon.
Let's start the analysis.
Hola amigos de Splinterlands, estos últimos meses jugando en Liga Oro y Modo Wild me ha ayudado a comprender que cartas son fundamentales en Splinterlands.
Cartas que aún siendo de las últimas ediciones del juego, están a la altura de las poderosas cartas de las primeras ediciones, y muchas de ellas serán de gran valor en un futuro.
Hoy voy a hablaros de una de ellas, una criatura bestial y que a mayor nivel más poderosa se vuelve, su nombre es Chaos Dragon.
Empezamos el análisis.
CHAOS DRAGON
Chaos Dragon is an exceptional card, belonging to the Chaos Legion edition, of legendary rarity and of course, of the Dragon element.
Although it is true that its 14 mana points make it not very suitable to be used in most of the combats, in the combats with a great amount of mana, its use is essential.
Chaos Dragon es una carta excepcional, perteneciente a la edición Chaos Legion, de rareza legendaria y como no, del elemento Dragón.
Si bien es cierto que sus 14 puntos de maná la hacen poco indicada para ser usada en la mayoría de los combates, en los combates con gran cantidad de maná, es imprescindible su uso.

This incredible card possesses characteristics and abilities that make it unique and very powerful. At level 1 it already has 3 points of magic attack, 3 points of speed, 4 points of shield and 10 points of vitality.
All these features will be maintained throughout the leveling up we do to the card except for its magic attack that will increase by +1 at level 4.
But as we will see below, where this card really differs from the rest is in its abilities.
Ésta increíble carta posee una características y habilidades que la hacen única y muy poderosa. A nivel 1 ya cuenta con 3 puntos de ataque mágico, 3 puntos de velocidad, 4 puntos de escudo y 10 puntos de vitalidad.
Todas estas características se mantendrán a lo largo de las subidas de nivel que hagamos a la carta a excepción de su ataque mágico que se incrementará en +1 a nivel 4.
Pero como veremos a continuación, donde realmente esta carta se diferencia del resto, es en sus habilidades.
FLYING
As usual in most Dragon element creatures, Chaos Dragon possesses the Flying ability at level 1. With it he will have a 25% chance to dodge melee and ranged attacks.
Como es habitual en la mayoría de criaturas del elemento Dragón, Chaos Dragon posee la habilidad Flying a nivel 1. Con ella tendrá un 25% de oportunidad de esquivar ataques cuerpo a cuerpo y a distancia.
SCATTERSHOT
Another ability available at level 1 is Scattershot. In my opinion, an ability only interesting in certain creatures and circumstances, which makes the attacks random. With Chaos Dragon we can take this skill to its maximum exponent when combined with the following skill.
Otra de las habilidades que dispone a nivel 1 es Scattershot. En mi opinión, una habilidad únicamente interesante en determinadas criaturas y circunstancias, que hace que los ataques sean al azar. Con Chaos Dragon podemos llevar a esta habilidad a su máximo exponente al ser combinada con la siguiente habilidad.
BLAST
At level 2 we will learn the ability Blast that does damage to the cards adjacent to the one hit. It is here where Chaos Dragon gains prominence since being able to attack randomly and also do damage to adjacent cards combined with its powerful attack makes it lethal.
A nivel 2 ya aprenderemos la habilidad Blast que hace daño a las cartas adyacentes a la golpeada. Es aquí donde Chaos Dragon gana protagonismo ya que poder atacar al azar y que además haga daño a las cartas adyacentes combinado con su poderoso ataque lo hace letal.
BLIND
Finally, at level 3 you will gain the ability Blind, a very interesting ability that makes all enemy creatures have a 15% chance to miss their melee and ranged attacks.
Por último, a nivel 3 ganará la habilidad Blind, una muy interesante habilidad que hace que todas las criaturas enemigas tengan un 15% de probabilidades de fallar sus ataques cuerpo a cuerpo y a distancia.
EXAMPLE COMBATS
But let's stop talking so much about stats and skills and let's see Chaos Dragon in action. I have selected several fights where you can see the potential of this card.
Pero dejémonos de hablar tanto de estadísticas y habilidades y veamos en acción a Chaos Dragon. He seleccionado varios combates en los que se puede ver el potencial de ésta carta.

In the first fight I use the summoner Quix the Devious, since the opponent's history suggested that he would use ranged attack cards. So it was and the combat is developed very easily and with several hits of Chaos Dragon to key creatures and in which I manage to do a lot of damage to their adjacent cards. Finally I get an easy victory.
In the rest of the fights I use the strategy that I like the most, using the summoner Delwyn Dragonscale to provide a +1 to all my magic attacks. With this strategy Chaos Dragon gets a very powerful attack that together with his ability Blast and Scattershot makes him hit hard several creatures at the same time doing a lot of damage and destroying quickly the weakest ones.
This combination of summoner and creatures is especially deadly and unless our opponent plays with special cards against magical attacks, he won't be able to do much against us.
En el primer combate utilizo al invocador Quix the Devious, ya que el historial del rival hacía presagiar que utilizaría cartas de ataque a distancia. Así fue y el combate se desarrolla con suma facilidad y con varios golpes de Chaos Dragon a criaturas clave y en las que consigo hacer mucho daño a sus cartas adyacentes. Finalmente consigo una fácil victoria.
En el resto de combates utilizo la estrategia que más me gusta, usar al invocador Delwyn Dragonscale para proporcionar un +1 a todos mis ataques mágicos. Con esta estrategia Chaos Dragon consigue una ataque muy poderoso que junto a su habilidad Blast y Scattershot hace que golpee duramente a varias criaturas a la vez haciendo mucho daño y destruyendo rápidamente a las más débiles.
Esta combinación de invocador y criaturas es especialmente mortífera y a no ser que nuestro rival juegue con cartas especiales contra ataque mágicos, poco podrá hacer contra nosotros.
