Hello Splinterlands friends, this week I'm going to tell you about one of the most liked battle conditions in Splinterlands. Its name is Wands Out and it's a favorite of all Magic card fans.
Hola amigos de Splinterlands, esta semana voy a hablaros de una de las condiciones de batalla que más que gustan en Splinterlands. Su nombre es Wands Out y es la favorita de todos los aficionados a las cartas de magia.
In today's post I will talk about what this battle condition consists of and several tips to use it and get the best results. Finally I will share with you a spectacular combat in which you will be able to see how destructive this battle condition can be together with Explosive Weapondry using certain cards.
En el post de hoy hablaré de en qué consiste esta condición de batalla y varios consejos para usarla y obtener los mejores resultados. Finalmente voy a compartir con vosotros un combate espectacular en el cual podréis ver lo destructiva que puede llegar a ser esta condición de batalla junto con Explosive Weapondry usando determinadas cartas.

What is the "WANDS OUT" condition?
When this condition is active, we can only use cards with magic attack.
Cuando esta condición está activa, solo podremos usar cartas con ataque mágico.
How to get advantage
Let's see some tips that we can use and get some advantage in the fights with this condition:
- When selecting a summoner our preference should be for summoners that enhance, reduce magic attacks or give us some magic related ability. Clear examples can be: Obsidian, Thaddius Brood, Bortus, Delwyn Dragonscale, Owster Rotwell, Sthispa or Alric Strombringer. All of them have something that will allow us to take advantage of our enemy.
- When selecting creatures we must prioritize cards with abilities such as Magic Reflect, Phase, Silence, Void or Void Armor which are perfect against creatures with magical attacks.
- In first position we should always use the cards that have more resistance and some of the abilities mentioned above. This card should be in charge of holding the enemy's attacks long enough to do damage and weaken the enemy cards as much as possible.
- Among all the cards that we can use, there is one that is especially indicated in this type of combat with this condition and it is the famous Djinn Oshannus. This card with its abilities becomes a fearsome opponent for magic attack cards. If we have the opportunity, it is preferable to use it.
Cómo obtener ventaja Veamos unos consejos que podemos usar y obtener cierta ventaja en los combates con esta condición:
- A la hora de seleccionar un invocador nuestra preferencia debe decantarse en invocadores que potencien, reduzcan los ataques mágicos o nos otorguen alguna habilidad relacionada con la magia. Ejemplos claros pueden ser: Obsidian, Thaddius Brood, Bortus, Delwyn Dragonscale, Owster Rotwell, Sthispa o Alric Strombringer. Todos ellos tienen algo que nos permitirá sacar ventaja ante nuestro enemigo.
- A la hora de seleccionar criaturas debemos priorizar en cartas con habilidades como Magic Reflect, Phase, Silence, Void o Void Armor que son perfectas ante criaturas de ataque mágico.
- En primera posición siempre debemos usar las cartas que tengan más resistencia y alguna de la habilidades arriba mencionadas. Esta carta debe ser la encargada de aguantar los ataques del enemigo el tiempo suficiente para hacer daño y debilitar al máximo las cartas enemigas.
- Entre todas las cartas que podemos usar, existe una que está especialmente indicada en este tipo de combate con esta condición y es la famosa Djinn Oshannus. Esta carta con sus habilidades se convierte en un temible rival para cartas de ataque mágico. Si tenemos la ocasión, es preferible usarla.
A Battle with "WANDS OUT" condition

The use of several cards with abilities such as Magic Reflect and a good summoner can easily decide the fight in our favor as we will see below.

Round 1
I start with an advantage with my summoner, my enemy plays Quix Devioux with the intention of playing Void Dragon although I don't see too much advantage with that, compared to the strategy I have prepared. My double combination of Magic Reflect with Djinn Muirat and Prismatic Energy is just great and thanks to it in the first turn Spirit Hoarder and Dax Paragon die. In addition, creatures that should provide a good defense like Iziar or Djinn Renova, are very touched.
Parto con ventaja con mi invocador, mi enemigo juega con Quix Devioux con la intención de jugar a Void Dragon aunque no veo demasiada ventaja con eso, comparado con la estrategia que tengo yo preparada. Mi doble combinación de Magic Reflect con Djinn Muirat y Prismatic Energy es simplemente genial y gracias a ella en el primer turno muere Spirit Hoarder y Dax Paragon. Además criaturas que deberían de proporcionarle una buena defensa como Iziar o Djinn Renova, quedan muy tocadas.
Round 2
The turn begins and the poison affects Iziar who is practically about to die. In this turn Djinn Muirat and Prismatic Energy finally die, but first I destroy Iziar, Djinn Renova and Temporal Master. Now he only has Void Dragon whose hours are numbered because he suffers the poison condition.
Empieza el turno y el veneno afecta a Iziar que prácticamente está a punto de morir. En este turno mueren finalmente Djinn Muirat y Prismatic Energy pero antes destruyo a Iziar, Djinn Renova y Temporal Master. Ya únicamente tiene a Void Dragon que tiene las horas contadas debido a que sufre la condición de veneno.
Round 3
Finally, in the third round, some accurate blows by Cabalist and Venari Bonesmith ended the life of Void Dragon allowing them to achieve a placid victory.
Para finalizar en el tercer turno unos golpes certeros de Cabalist y Venari Bonesmith terminan con la vida de Void Dragon permitiendo conseguir una plácida victoria.
My opinion
Splinter Death has become in my opinion a specialist against magic. Cards like his summoner Thaddius Brood and creatures like Djinn Muirat, Life Sapper, Venari Bonesmith, Revealer, Magi Necrosi, Usut or Phantom Soldier make this Splinter very powerful against magic just by using magic to defeat the enemy.
El Splinter Muerte se ha convertido en mi opinión en especialista contra la magia. Cartas como su invocador Thaddius Brood y criaturas como Djinn Muirat, Life Sapper, Venari Bonesmith, Revealer, Magi Necrosi, Usut o Phantom Soldier hacen de este Splinter muy poderoso frente a la magia justo utilizando la magia para derrotar al enemigo.
It is for this reason that it has been one of the first Splinters to have almost all of its cards at the maximum Gold league level.
Es por este motivo por el que ha sido uno de los primeros Splinters en tener casi todas sus cartas al máximo nivel de liga Oro.
Buena estrategia con el Magic Reflect y Amplify. No sabía que Djinn Muirat tenía esa habilidad en lvl 3.
