- Today's topic is a battle rule called "Earthquake." When this rule is in effect, it has a particular impact on the monsters who are involved. Contrary to popular belief, when this rule is invoked, the battleground does not begin to shake. Rather, the Earthquake rule causes each monster used in the battle to take 2 points of damage to their armor or health. This means that the monsters will weaken and become less capable of defending themselves or inflicting damage on their opponents.

- It is important to note that the Earthquake rule is just one of many rules that can be applied to battles between monsters. These rules can add various layers of complexity and challenge to the battles, making them more exciting and engaging for players. The Earthquake rule in particular can force players to adapt their strategies and think more carefully about which monsters they choose to use in battle.

- In the game Splinterlands, one efficient way to reduce the harm caused by earthquakes is to deploy flying monsters. As most players know, creatures with flying skills have a better chance of escaping attacks from other monsters, whether combat or ranged in nature. However, it has yet to be widely known among new players that monsters with flying abilities are immune to earthquake damage. By incorporating flying monsters into your Splinterlands gameplay strategy, you can better safeguard your team against the destructive effects of earthquakes. Not only do these monsters have an added advantage when it comes to avoiding attacks from non-flying monsters, but they also possess a crucial immunity to one of the most destructive forces in the game. As such, it is highly recommended that players take full advantage of the unique capabilities of flying monsters to minimize the impact of earthquakes and secure victory in Splinterlands battles.

Mortis's creatures are terrifying and mysterious, even to the Dark Eternals. The Lord of Darkness never knew the true scope of the terrors he unleashed by tampering with the rules of death. Phantasms are unexpected and cause real pain.

In preparation for the Phantasm battle, there was a requirement for monsters with flying abilities. Among the various monsters that were being considered for the team, it stood out as the ideal choice. It was clear that it's unique abilities made it the perfect monster for this battle.
In addition to its flying ability, Phantasm was also selected for the team due to its impressive speed. Its speed provided a significant advantage on the battlefield, allowing it to strike first in many situations. This was a crucial advantage, as it often determined the outcome of battles. Additionally, its speed also increased its chances of successfully dodging attacks from enemy monsters. Its agility and quick reflexes allowed it to swiftly move out of harm's way, avoiding potentially devastating attacks. With both its flying and speed abilities, Phantasm was a formidable monster that provided a clear advantage for the team in battle.

Riftwing are attracted to splinters and rifts, where they feed on the energy and grow larger as they live closer to a portal. The Chaos Legion takes advantage of this and uses them to locate rifts. During the war, they serve as scouts, providing critical information and also harassing or distracting enemy forces, slowing them down.

Although Riftwing lacks attack power and cannot engage in direct combat with opposing team members on the battlefield, its unique abilities make it a valuable asset in battle. Riftwing, in particular, has two extremely valuable skills at its initial level. The first ability is Flying ability, which allows it to effortlessly explore the battlefield, dodge obstacles, and evade opponent strikes. It may move fast and easily above the battlefield with its ability, offering critical support to its team members.
The second ability of Riftwing in level one is Scavenger, which provides an advantage in battles of attrition. As monsters from both teams die, it's health increases, making it more durable and resilient on the battlefield. This ability allows it to stay in the fight longer and contribute more to the team's efforts. its unique skills make it a useful supplement to any battle plan, especially in fights where mobility and durability are crucial components.

Gargoya, living stone creatures, are a unique result of a battle with the Chaos Legion on the other side of the world. A former tower of a conquered lord, protected by dozens of gargoyles, was destroyed by glowing meteors from the Chaos Legion. Surprisingly, the gargoyles remained unscathed and came to life. They left their destroyed world behind and migrated across the sea in search of a new home.

Gargoya Devil was the second monster on my team with two unique abilities, both of which played an important role in the battle. The first ability, and perhaps the most essential for that particular battle, was its Flying ability. This helped Gargoya Devil to move quickly and easily across the battlefield and escape from the damage of the earthquake.
The second ability of Gargoya Devil was Close Range, which allowed it to attack enemy monsters even if it was placed in the first position of the line. This ability was particularly useful as it enabled Gargoya Devil to deal damage to opposing team members regardless of the battlefield. By being able to attack from any position, it was able to take out key targets and disrupt the opposing team's strategy.
Overall, the two abilities of Gargoya Devil, Flying and Close Range, made it a valuable asset to the team in battle. Its ability to move swiftly and attack from any location made it tough for the opposing team to counter, and it was able to inflict significant damage on vital targets.

In the ancient world of magic, there was a greedy King named Kiro the Collector who ruled over the thriving jungle of Mortis. Kiro was obsessed with collecting the treasures of his defeated enemies, and his workforce spent most of their time constructing warehouses and silos to store them. As he grew old, he became afraid of who would watch over his treasures when he was gone. At the suggestion of his attendant, Vikor, Kiro gave himself over to the darkness and was granted a twisted form of eternal life through an ancient forbidden ritual of magic. Thousands of years later, Kiro still wanders the wastelands of Mortis with nothing but his magic, regretting the decisions he made in his lifetime.

- In the battle, the use of Ancient Lich was a risky choice due to its low health and lack of flying ability. As a result, it was vulnerable to the Earthquake attack that dealt 2 health damage per round. However, I had faith in its Life Leech ability, which could turn the tide of the battle. While Ancient Lich took 2 health damage from Earthquake each round, it was able to inflict 3 health damage to the enemy per round while also gaining 2 health for itself. This made it clear that while Ancient Lich may not have been able to withstand attacks easily, it could deal a significant amount of damage to the opponent's monsters. My bet on the Life Leech ability of Ancient Lich paid off, as it proved to be a vital asset in the battle. Despite being susceptible to Earthquakes, it was able to deal a significant amount of damage to the opposing team's monsters.

The Fire Spitters from the Pocket Dimension have arrived at the Dragon Splinter of Draykh-Nahka, fitting right in. Despite being smaller than most monsters native to the Splinterlands, they can produce a magnificent blaze that can easily incinerate a cottage in just a few minutes.

Fire Spitter has a few advantages that make it a valuable asset in combat. One of its key strengths is its impressive speed, which allows it to quickly close in on and attack the opponent's monsters. This quickness gives the enemy little time to react and defend themselves, making Fire Spitter an excellent choice for those who favor a more aggressive play style. Another major advantage of its flying ability, which allows it to avoid attacks from monsters that lack the ability to fly. This provides it with a significant tactical advantage, allowing it to take down opponents with ease while remaining out of reach of their attacks.
Additionally, Fire Spitter has two ranged attacks that are capable of inflicting 2 points of damage on enemy monsters. This makes it an effective tool for dealing damage from a distance and can help to weaken opponents before engaging them in close combat. Overall, the combination of its speed, flying ability, and ranged attacks make it a formidable foe on the battlefield, and a valuable asset to any summoner looking to gain an advantage in combat.

-> During my recent battle, I noticed that my opponent had enlisted the fire summoner TARSA in addition to several fire monsters. It quickly became apparent to me that this posed a significant threat, as fire monsters are known for their formidable damage power, which can wreak havoc on the health of the opposing team's monsters.
.gif)
->In response to this, I decided to carefully craft my own team, taking advantage of a combination of dragon and death monsters. These monsters, while perhaps not as immediately intimidating as their fiery counterparts, possess their own unique strengths and abilities that I believed would help me gain the upper hand in the battle.

The Mana Limitation For this Battle Was 32.
Battle Rule Was Earthquake.
Only the Fire, Death & Dragon Summoner, And Monsters Could Be Used.

- During the game, my opponent deployed the powerful fire summoner Tarsa. Tarsa has the unique ability to enhance the combat prowess and vitality of all friendly monsters. Specifically, Tarsa grants an additional +1 point of melee attack power and +1 point of health to each friendly monster. As a result, all of my opponent's monsters became significantly stronger and healthier than they were before. This gave the opposition team a considerable advantage in combat, as their monsters were now better equipped to deal with damage and withstand attacks.

- During the battle, I opted to deploy the powerful Dragon summoner DRAKE OF ARNAK. The DRAKE OF ARNAK has a unique ability that allows it to enhance the armor of all friendly monsters. By summoning him, my team was able to give each of our monsters an additional +1 point of armor. This made our monsters more resilient and better equipped to withstand attacks from the opposing team. With our defenses bolstered, we could now focus on launching a counter-attack and turning the tide of the battle in our favor.

During the battle, it quickly became apparent that the opposing team's Spark Pixiels was much faster than my team's monsters. This allowed it to take advantage of its speed and attack my team before they had a chance to respond. My team's monster Phantasm was the first to be targeted by the Spark Pixiels. it launched a swift and powerful attack that shattered Phantasm's armor, leaving it exposed and vulnerable to further damage.
Following the devastating attack by the opposing team, my team members sprang into action and launched a counter-attack. The first target of our attack was Gargoya Lion, a formidable soldier from the opposing team. Our soldier, Fire Spitter, launched a powerful attack with its 2 ranged power that shattered Gargoya Lion's armor. This was a crucial moment in the battle, as it gave us the upper hand and put the opposing team on the defensive.
Taking advantage of the weakened state of Gargoya Lion, our second soldier, Phantasm, delivered a devastating blow that dealt a significant amount of damage. The attack took two health points from the opponent monster, leaving it in a precarious position. With our counter-attack successful, we had turned the tide of the battle in our favor. We now had the opportunity to press our advantage and push the opposing team back, hopefully securing victory in the battle.

Despite the hazards concerned, my fighting strategy proved to be successful. One of the most important aspects of my plan was the use of the powerful creature known as Ancient Lich. Despite losing health due to the effects of Earth Quake, he compensated by dealing a massive three points of damage to the opposing team's monsters every round. Ancient Lich also acquires two life points per round by dealing damage to an opponent's monster.
In the first round of combat, Ancient Lich was able to use its powerful abilities to eliminate the opposing team's monster Gargoya Lion, dealing a fatal blow that left the monster incapacitated. In the second round of combat, he struck again, this time targeting the opposing team's monster GARGOYA DEVIL. With a devastating attack, he was able to eliminate the monster from the battlefield, further weakening the opposing team's forces.

According to the rules of the battle, any monsters who lack the flying ability are dealt 2 damage. Unfortunately, in my team, the Ancient Lich was the only monster without the flying ability, so he was also subjected to this rule and took 2 damage as a result. However, the damage dealt was not to his health but to his armor. Luckily, at this point, the Drake of Arnak, who was my dragon summoner, came into play. The armor that was damaged by the 2 points of damage was given by the Drake of Arnak's summoning ability, the Ancient Lich was able to avoid taking any actual damage to his health.
In contrast to my team's fortunate turn of events, the opposing team was not so lucky. The earthquake had a significant impact on his monsters, resulting in them taking damage to their health. Three of the opponent's monsters were affected and sustained injuries. This damage caused by the earthquake made the opposing team's monsters weaker, as their health was now compromised. With weakened monsters, the opposing team's ability to defend themselves and attack effectively may have been impacted. This could potentially give my team an advantage, as we now have an opportunity to strike back and gain the upper hand in the battle.

- As the second round of the battle commenced, my team suffered a devastating loss. The opponent's monster, Spark Pixle, was able to deal a lethal blow to Phantasm. Using its impressive 2 ranged power, Spark Pixle was able to take one shot and kill Phantasm, leaving our team reeling from the sudden loss. Despite this setback, our team still had a powerful monster waiting in the wings - the unstoppable Riftwing. After Phantasm's defeat, the Riftwing was brought to the forefront of the battle, taking up the first position.
.gif)
Riftwing's unique ability proved to be a significant asset to our team, as each time any monster from either team was defeated, it would gain an extra +1 health. This made it a formidable opponent, and its resilience could help us turn the tide of the battle in our favor. In battles where an earthquake is a significant threat, having a monster with the flying ability is a game-changer. This ability ensures that the monster can avoid damage caused by the earthquake, giving it a significant advantage over monsters that lack flying ability. The Riftwing is one such monster, and its flying ability makes it an ideal choice for this kind of battle format.
Additionally, Riftwing has a unique ability that grants it extra health each time any monster, from either team, is defeated. This ability can make it an unstoppable force, growing stronger and more resilient with each defeat of any monster in the battle. My team's Riftwing remained alive throughout the entirety of the battle. At the end of the battle, the Riftwing's health had increased to an impressive 8, a testament to its resilience and effectiveness in this battle format. Its flying ability and scavenger ability made it the best choice for my team, allowing us to emerge victorious in the battle.

In the battle between my team and the opposing team, my team's strength was unmatched. The opposing team's two melee attack monsters, Gargoya Lion and Radiated Brute, were defeated during the course of the match, causing a significant decrease in the opposing team's power. This weakened state of the opposing team left me with no doubt that my team would emerge victorious.
As the battle continued, my team's monsters were able to defeat each and every one of the opponent's monsters with relative ease. Even when the enemy monster, Tenyii Striker, attempted to attack my Fire Sspitter multiple times, it failed to land a hit due to its lack of speed and flying ability.
Overall, the battle was a straightforward victory for my team. The opposing team simply could not keep up with the strength and agility of my monsters, leading to their eventual defeat.
