I faced off against Zyvax Vuul for the first time. I still think the card is trash. You routinely see Zyvax Vuul and Ifrit Rising among the least expensive Legends from Chaos Legion.
The recharge ability has been largely poo pooed. You also see this ability on the least expensive epic cards. Often these monsters get killed off before they can get their first shot off. The ability is much better paired with magic than it is with melee or ranged attacks because those at least get under the opponent's armor. I've seen some great success with Ifrit Rising. If you only get to apply a small fraction of 6 magic damage to a monster then it at least finishes off the monster. With Zyvax Vuul it only finishes off the armor.

We were both expecting to face off against General Sloan with these available splinters and a mana cap this high. I have to give credit to my opponent for anticipating that.
Zyvax did get one shot off and survive 1 shot from Chaos Dragon, it was enough to knock off Shieldbearer's shield temporarily.
What are your thoughts on Zyvax Vuul? Have any of you seen success with Zyvax?

When I saw all the negative feedback I started looking for specific use cases for recharge. I find it works Super well in Equalizer. The extra hp on your side helps keep you alive long enough to fire a few off. The extra hp on there side gets hit 1.5X harder overall making it hard to heal through effectively. On low mana equilizer I almost always run a temporal mage. I like to keep my hp under 6 and hope the opponents do the same. Temporal mage will one shot every enemy one at a time. Ifirit and uriel are similar, but will give everyone more hp to deal with.
You bring up a great point. The Temporal Master has a great damage to life ratio for the Equalizer rule set and it has a low mana cost.

Correction, Zyvax survived one direct shot from Chaos Dragon. It also took blast damage from Chaos Dragon before that.
Totally crap card!there only 1 recharge card that was worth printing and thats Uriel--The rest of the recharge cards are a total waste in my opinion.I have won matches using them but the Fiends and Furious Chicken serve the same purpose as them.They are basically sacrificial cards.
