Leveling up your dragon monsters from Conclave Arcana for level 4

Most of the summoners that we play with are rare. When we get them up to level 4 we can pair them with level 5 commons, level 4 rares, level 3 epics and level 2 legendary monsters.

I think these are some of the most impactful dragon monsters from Conclave Arcana to start leveling up if you happen to have some level 4 rare summoners to pair them with. These upgrades will also work if you have level 2 legendary summoners, level 3 epic summoners or level 5 common summoners.

After my last post, I'm less surprised to see the first meaningful upgrade at this level coming out of the new reward cards. At level 4 Dragonfang Lancer picks up the reflexes ability which is a new ability. Based on my understanding of the ability; If Dragonfang Lancer gets hit by something with double strike or execute that comes back for more, it will miss with the rest of it's attempts after 1 hit. I actually don't recommend running out to buy enough of these to upgrade to level 4 right away. These are available in your rewards and if you use up a decent portion of your daily energy in the game, you'll get this upgrade for free within a few weeks. That being said, it is a very cool upgrade to look forward to.

At level 3 Songale picks up the bloodline tribute ability.

At level 3 Kazira Vaelstrik picks up the close range ability which could easily mean the difference between a win and a loss and feels good when you're using a 10 mana beater.

All of the cards that I discussed in today's post are legal in modern (being from Conclave Arcana). If you start to level these cards up remember that they will revert to a lower level if you play them with a lower level summoner.

I would love to hear what some of your favorite cards are to level up. I'll keep pointing out the ones I can. Another great place to find them is the cards that you get beat by on the battlefield.

For any of you who might be new to making posts for the social media challenge or who had stepped away for a while. This can be a great way to get involved in the Splinterlands community. The upvotes from the Splinterlands curators can go a long ways towards keeping your collection competitive. There are some recent updates to their curation rules that are worth noting:

Word Count. There is a 600 word cutoff which is relevant for me. Several of my recent posts were right around that cutoff, some were a little over and some were a little under. One of our manual curators pointed it out for me. I was grateful for the upvote and the explanation.

Community Commitment. "To ensure the long-term sustainability and growth of the Hive ecosystem, we will evaluate the long-term commitment of participants when selecting winners. Specifically, we will review past rewards earned and currently held Hive Power (HP) as part of the selection process.

Participants who demonstrate an investor mindset by holding and growing their HP are more likely to be rewarded. Those who consistently extract all rewards without reinvesting into the ecosystem may not be eligible for prizes.

This rule aims to celebrate and encourage commitment to the Hive blockchain, fostering a strong and engaged community."

If you never unstake your HP, then you'll probably get a power guardian badge like me

TLDR. If you're a little bit of an OG like I am who has been stacking your SPS and your hive power for a couple of years, you're still likely to get curated. If you've been cashing out all of your earnings within the ecosystem or doing stuff like farming, the curators can easily see that you only have 40 SPS staked and hive power of 3. You're not going to get curated. To say that farming is not encouraged would be an understatement. We are strictly prohibited from using multiple accounts to farm rewards in these weekly challenges.
