It’s officially been one full month since I returned to playing Splinterlands—and what a ride it’s been. From starting again in Bronze III, struggling to remember card combos, all the way to now playing in Gold II (Frontier) and Silver III (Modern), it’s been both frustrating and fun at the same time.
🛡️ Where I Am Right Now
⚔️ Gold II in Frontier Mode
I play here a lot since the playing field is much more even—most players use the same pool of cards, with the only difference being card levels.
⚔️ Silver III in Modern Format
I can’t seem to climb higher because of the huge card variety and strong opponents.
Lots of losing streaks burn my energy points quickly, which makes it harder to grind consistently.
📉 Struggles Along the Way
❌ Wasting a lot of energy points because of defeats
❌ Not enough card knowledge yet with all the new sets and abilities
❌ Modern feels like a wall of strong players—hard to progress without better strategies or rentals
✅ Small Wins I’m Proud Of
🎯 Climbing from Bronze III → Silver → Gold II (Frontier) in just a month
🎯 Learning more about Glint rewards and how to maximize them
🎯 Experimenting with rented cards to try different splinter strategies
🎯 Slowly building a core deck from rewards and Glint draws
🚀 My Plan Moving Forward
Play more actively near season end, when climbing can be a bit easier
Rent key cards earlier in the season to push into Silver/Gold faster
Focus on one main Splinter (Water or Fire) for consistency
Keep posting updates to share my wins, losses, and what I learn
đź’¬ Question for You
For those of you playing in Modern Silver/Gold:
👉 How do you deal with strong competition and massive card pools?
👉 Do you focus on one splinter or spread across multiple?
