Today marks my 33rd day since returning to Splinterlands—and honestly, this season feels like the hardest grind yet.
With my Frontier energy points running very low, I shifted heavily to the Modern format, hoping to at least cover my rental expenses through rewards. But with less than a day before the season ends, that hope is slowly fading.
📉 Where I Stand
🏆 Current Rank: Still stuck in Silver III
⏳ Time Left: Less than 24 hours before the reset
💸 Rental Costs: Too high, and not worth the return this time
⚔️ Competition: Modern format is now filled with strong players and complete decks, making every battle a real uphill fight
Last season, I managed to climb to Silver II without much struggle. This time? It feels like every step forward gets countered with two steps back.
🤔 What I Realized This Season
Renting a wide variety of cards was not efficient.
Some of the cards I rented ended up not being used at all—wasted DEC and Glint.
Modern format is getting tougher, and half-renting a deck just isn’t enough against complete lineups.
🚀 My Plan for Next Season
Rent less, but smarter—focus on one maxed splinter set instead of spreading thin.
Lean more on my own cards in Frontier, where I already have a foundation.
Be more strategic with rentals—only grab cards I know I’ll actually play.
Aim for consistency instead of chasing multiple splinters.
💬 Question for You
How do you balance rentals and rewards in Modern?
Do you focus on one strong splinter, or try to spread across multiple?
I’d love to hear your strategies—it might save me from repeating this season’s mistakes.
