I saw the first game. The opponent had some really expensive and great card. The Venka was at level one, I know this, but I think your cards were just speedy enough before it (the Venka) started attacking with that pierce ability.

It sure was a close call. I also noticed how little up-to-date I am with the newer cards. Just too many of them already to realistically keep in mind. Also each time one of those cards like the Venka stands out it's always very expensive.
