In this post I examine two recent Rebellion only tournaments. These two are for the high end leagues (diamond and gold).
For each tournament the following stats are reported:
- Summoner win rates and total number of battles
- Top/Bottom 10 Monster win rates and total number of battles
- Top ten players
- Links to all battles from the top 3 players
- Lineup highlights from the top 3 players.
Scarred Hand Diamond Beginner Cup
The Scarred Hand Diamond Beginner Cup is the highest league Rebellion only tournament. So far, there are only a few players with maxed Rebellion decks that participate in this tournament. Therefore, a large portion of matches are unfair, in the sense that they feature one maxed deck versus one underleveled, or even completely unleveled, deck.
Nevertheless, there are some good matches to be found in the tournament,and we can learn a lot about the Rebellion cards by watching them.

For summoners, Akane, Avina of the Wolf, Prophet Rosa and Zeddica are the only ones that have positive winrates, and Akane stands quite a step above the rest. At least when she doesn't compete against the Chaos Legion summoners, Akane does very well.

Scarred Hand Gold Beginner Cup
The Scarred Hand Diamond Beginner Cup is the second highest league Rebellion only tournament. In Gold league, cards have gotten a lot more abilities than in Silver, and Gold league tends to be somewhat similar to Diamond/Champion league in terms of strategies. In this tournament, even more than for the Diamond tournament discussed above, a lot of underleveled cards were used. In fact the majority of matches featured Bronze or Silver level decks.

In this tournament as well, Akane turns out to be the strongest Rebellion summoner. The next three summoners are the dual-color summoners for Water+Death, Water+Life and Fire+Earth. The worst summoners are Nomos and Reklah, which makes sense because they feature offensive targeted abilities, and so far these can only be used blindly in tournaments.

IMO it's kinda sad that there's no Rebellion only tournament for Champion.
I only got to play that Diamond tournament because Clayboyn made a mistake setting it up. I feel like there should be a Rebellion only tournament for the highest league as well.
Yeah, that crossed my mind when I was looking at this tournament as well.
Its unfortunate because most players with maxed/close to maxed rebellion decks are likely in champion for most of the season, so we don't really get to see them compete.
