"Share Your Battle Weekly Challenge!" featuring the Scavo Firebolt How is it going, folks? @kaylerfaye here and I hope this blog finds you well. Today's blog will be an entry to the which is brought to us by @splinterlands. It's going to be the same drill as before, we will study the card first then we'll break down some battles. So what are we waiting for? let's jump right in.
Scavo Firebolt is one of the Scavo Trio that came in together with the release of Chaos Legion Edition. Among those three, Scavo Firebolt is the only attack type card, the other two are support cards. At level 1 it deals 2 Range damage with 2 Speed and a decent 4 HP. Its breakpoints are at level 4 where it gets extra damage for the Silver League. Next will be at level 7 for another extra attack. His ability Knock Out which gets unlocked at level 6 is a situational skill that only works if the target monster is stunned so try using him in combination with monsters that have the Stun ability. Other than that, I think many would consider it a filler card. Nevertheless, let's showcase some battles where I utilize Scavo Firebolt.

BATTLE #001IMO, one of the best use cases of Scavo Firebolt is during Little League Ruleset. Having 2~3 Damage and Speed is not something you would want to pass on when you're only limited to 4-mana monsters and below. Scavo Firebolt also excels on an Equalizer Ruleset too. Mainly because of his decent firepower for a cheap cost. Despite having plenty of mana to play around in this battle, I decided to test this volcano mole's potential against high HP teams, and surprisingly, he did pretty well. In general, Scavo Firebolt can be used as a meatshield against Sneak or Snipe attacks. In this battle, because of its decent HP, it was able to take soak up 3 hits protecting my Serpentine Spy and by the time my opponent get past Scavo Firebolt, his backline was already decimated. As I mentioned earlier in this post, Scavo Firebolt might just be a filler for many of us especially, when Are you a gaming enthusiast like me? Come and be part of "NFTy Arcade". Equalizer
The initial Health of all Monsters is equal to that of the Monster on either team with the highest base Health.
(Thorns, Magic Reflect or Return Fire) + Amplify as well as the ability Backfire. They are good ways to inflict cheeky little extra damage.Life Leech ability is also good to have in this ruleset as you can further increase the HP of your monster that has this ability equivalent to the damage you dealt.

Even Stevens Ruleset is in play where only monsters with even Mana costs may be used in battles. Admit it or not, we knew that in Splinterlands not all cards are created equal. But by maximizing the odds and resources available to you during every battle, underwhelming cards like Scavo Firebolt have the potential to shine.
