Dealing with Explosive Weaponry the Old Fashion Way

Hello again, my coffee loving friends. Explosive Weaponry is one of the most annoying rule set in Splinterlands due to the amount of preparation you need. The best strategy I would suggest is using a unit with Taunt so that you won't get outplayed by your enemies.

With this rule set, I would use my best team if possible. The Kraken's whole kit is really strong in this rule set especially that Retaliate since whenever he does so, Blast would activate giving him access to the back row.

STRATEGY

---

Use Taunt to direct all attacks to The Kraken. This eliminates any factors like enemy attacking my back row. This allows me to control the game better.

With The Kraken, it's supported by triple Tank Heal and Djinn Oshannus on the second row to absorb any Blast damage.

Alternative Strategy: You can exchange Djinn Oshannus with any unit that has Reflection Shield. Reflection Shield removes any Blast damage to that unit giving you a wall behind your tank.

In this battle, I used the summoner, Bortus and units, The Kraken, Djinn Oshannus, Tortisian Chief, Crustacean King, Merdaali Guardian .

Level 8: Rare Summoner. Allows level 10 common, level 8 rare, level 6 epic and level 4 legendary. -1 Magic: Reduces the Magic damage of all enemy Units by 1

Taunt - Demoralize - Enrage - Retaliate - Blast	Void - Phase - Forcefield - Blast	Tank Heal - Blast
1. Level 4: The best tank in the game. I was very worried about the Sneaks and Opportunity so I want a unit with Taunt to control the game.	2. Level 4: Since the rule set gives Blast ability to my enemies as well, I needed a secondary tank that would absorb the Blast damage that's coming through The Kraken.	3. Level 4: With extra Tank Heal and 2 magic damage, Tortisian Chief is a good choice for this team.

Tank Heal - Protect - Blast	Tank Heal - Repair - Strengthen - Blast
4. Level 6: Another Tank Heal unit. The Protect is not required but a good addition.	5. Level 8: With Both Repair and Tank Heal, Merdaali Guardian is a must in any team with Taunt.
