I know most of us noticed that the rewards per win is very low even in the higher leagues and so I decided to create this post to get other peoples opinion and to know how really the "dec reward per win" works.
First let me just start with explaining to everyone how I think/understand the DEC REWARD POOL. As what the founder from AMA Mentioned,
"It's a very big pool in which everyone competes for it."
By the statement it means that all leagues are sharing it and so I assumed that the main reason why the DEC REWARD POOL is draining is because the community is growing and there's alot of players competing for it.
So this means the growth of splinterlands is that much significant that it's really draining a "very big pool" which makes it more exciting to compete who can go to the top.
But I also noticed that there's way too many bots in lower leagues that players are complaining about. Don't get me wrong I have nothing againsts bots I find them easy. It's just that with them and promoting their thing and players who own them like 100 accounts being botted by a single owner is one of the big factors of the DEC REWARD POOL being drained. (If and only if it works how I understand it)
I've tried playing on champion league with 100% ECR and after a few games I noticed that even after having winstreaks there's not much change on my dec per win, It started at 33dec after 7 winsteaks it chaged to 39 dec. That's just dissapointing "for me" because it's supposed to be competetive and after everything you've gone through just to be at the highest league to farm more dec you'll be given that small amount unlike before.
Anyway, I know it's just one way to earn but this thing you call one way is the only way for most of us starters who can't afford to buy a collection that appreciated their value several times. That's why we are competing to the top most league to get better resources and eventually gather our collection faster that the others staying on the lower leagues.
I know I'll come as boastful but I like challenging myself and at the same time I like seeing how those players who started way earlier before me that has huge collection on how they use their cards vs my limited rented cards on the max level summoner rules. It brings satisfaction defeating them and being defeated by them. It makes me want to play more againsts them knowing that the only thing that separates us is our collection but the way they use their cards is not really impressive provided that they've been playing the game for the longest time.

Just a one of them, I got many more but you get my point.
Going back, because of the low DEC REWARD PER WIN in the higher leagues it pains me not to be able to make it even just breaking even the rent cost and with it I had to stay away from that competetive league coz I can't sustain it.
I just wish that the reward pool was divisioned and not shared by everyone since there's way many players in the lower leagues compared to the higher. You'll even notice that players in the higher leagues are not that much playing and if they reach a certain % of their ECR they'll stop and play again the next day when their ECR is 100% again.
This for me is unfair especially that the reason why you go to higher leagues is to get better rewards. I have no qualms of the changes about how the season ends it's just that if we can separate the pool of reward for every league then those who can compete up there regardless of renting or ownning the cards, It should be rewarding.
So that's how I understand it and that's what I kind of hope to happen but all of this is just a hope and I'm not even sure if how I understand it is the right way. Hopefully you can also share your thoughts or knowledge on this matter.
