I've been completing some calculations with regards to the new chest rewards using the league boosts posted by Splinterlands.
With the recent market drop the values aren't looking as appetising as a week ago however there looks to still be some decent value in chests.
Card Value
Using the average prices for the reward cards in print the average card value of the chest is calculated below:
DEC, Potions and Packs
Some assumptions were made with regards to the value of DEC drops with value of pack taken from the market and potions as listed.
Chest Value
Using the above data calculated and the drop rates and posted by Splinterlands the below chest value for each league have been calculated.
As you can see there is a large increase from Gold to Silver league chest values as the token multiplier increase 4 fold however this also requires a far more rounded deck to play with.
In my next post I will attempt to calculate the expected value from playing in different leagues during a season.
