This is the second post about the Chaos Legion's expansion Legendary cards, I created 6 different parameters to rate the cards, which I hope you will like, and I really hope to create an interesting discussion about them, because it would be really interesting...we need to spend our time during this cold bear market.

If you missed the first post click here to read it, it was about the amazing Queen Mycelia.

The parameters I chose are Versatility, Farmability, Growth, Combo, Price, and Base Stats.

So let's start analyzing the first card of this post: the Fungus Fiend.

Versatility: for this parameter, I chose a simple way, I'll just consider the Rule sets, every Rule set where the Card is useful will give a point, then I'll just calculate the % of positive Rule sets out of the total number of Rule sets.

The Fungus Fiend is useful (or at least Neutral) in 26 Rule Sets out of 33, so to calculate I use 26 : 33= X : 10.
X= 7.87 rounding up to 8.

Thanks to its 0 Mana cost the Fungus Fiend can be useful as bait with a lot of Rules of combat.

Fungus Fiend Versatility is 8

Farmability: For this parameter, I considered the total number of cards printed, how many cards are on the market, and the Price. I didn't use a mathematical formula, but just considering the total printed cards at the moment: 14'245, the total number of cards on market: 50, and the price/BCX around 4.30$, I gave Fungus Fiend a neutral vote because, despite the relatively low cost of the card and the high number of printed cards, there are few available cards on the market.

Fungus Fiend's Farmability is 6.

Growth: For this parameter, I considered a 1 point for every +1 in any stat and 2 points for every ability the card unlocks leveling up:

Fungus Fiend's Growth is 4.

Combo: To be honest this is the most difficult parameter to decide because there are a lot of different cards and a lot of differences between levels in Splinterlands and an infinite number of different combinations when we create a deck.

So I just considered Fungus Fiend's base stats and how they work with the Chaos Legion Cards, considering the Obsidian Summoner who gives a +1 Magic Attack bonus it doesn't really match with a Low Health Melee Attack Monster, but we have to consider that a 0 Mana cost card can always be useful to give "more time" to the Magic Attackers to deal damages.

Fungus Fiend's Combo is 5. It is a card that can always be useful, considering the low Mana Cost, but it doesn't have any particular utility with the Earth Summoner except baiting.

Price: This is a simple parameter to decide, I just consider if it is a Monster card or a Summoner card and I check the price.

The Fungus Fiend's price is pretty average but it is the most expensive "Fiend" right now.

Fungus Fiend's price is 6. It has a value, but nothing exceptional.

Base Stats: This parameter considers the Base card, and for the Fungus Fiend considering its low Mana cost I decided to go for a relatively high vote, that's because the bait is a bait, at every level and considering the arriving split between Modern and Wild format, the Modern players will lose the most famous bait in this game, the Furious Chicken, so I think that the "Fiends" will rise in importance after the split.

Fungus Fiend's Base Stats vote is 7.

Let's see the final Fungus Fiend's form:

Now, that the Fungus has been analyzed, let's start seeing the Iza the Fanged card:

Versatility: The Iza the Fanged is useful (or at least Neutral) in 12 Rule Sets out of 33, so to calculate I use 12 : 33= X : 10.
X= 3.63 rounding up to 4. Unfortunately Iza the Fanged just "steal" space for more useful Magic Attack cards in most of the Rules of Combat.

Iza the Fanged Versatility is 4.

Farmability: Considering the total printed cards at the moment: 17'511, the total number of cards on market: 170, and the price/BCX around 2.40$, I gave Iza the Fanged a high vote because it would be really easy to level up.

Iza the Fanged's Farmability is 9.

High Farmability is not a good sign, to be honest.

Growth: For this parameter, I considered a 1 point for every +1 in any stat and 2 points for every ability the card unlocks leveling up:

Schermata 20220706 alle 16.06.08.png

Iza the Fanged's Growth is 4.

oneup2.png

Combo: Let's be honest, as I said in the intro, Iza the Fanged doesn't really match with the Earth Summoner, being a bit useless for a Magic Deck, I had to stay low for the vote.

Iza the Fanged's Combo is 3.

oneup2.png

Price: This is a simple parameter to decide, I just consider if it is a Monster card or a Summoner card and I check the price.
Iza is the third less valuable card, considering the Chaos Legion's Expansion Legendary cards:

Iza the Fanged's Price is 3.

oneup2.png

Base Stats: This parameter considers the Base card, and for Iza the Fanged considering its Mana cost and Stats I decided to go for a low vote, that's because even the Stats are pretty bad, the only interesting thing is the Scavenger ability, so I gave her a low vote, but not super low.

Iza the Fanged's Base Stats is 4.

And that's the final form:

As always I hope that we can discuss the cards and the parameters because it is important to keep alive this community.
