Hello Splinterlands fam!
Welcome to another Splinterlands post, and I hope all of you are doing well and enjoying an amazing day with your loved ones. Now, if you also happen to be a splinterlands player like me, then most probably you are fighting right now in the game arena and trying to push your trophy count in the ranked and frontier modes while fulfilling your duties in Brawls and Tournaments. Though it seems we just started playing in the ongoing ranked season recently, in reality, we have already passed a week, and if you take a look at the season clock, a little less than 8 days left for this current ranked season to meet its end. So, whatever goals you have set for yourself in this season, whether it is to reach a particular league tier and claim those juicy reward chests or fight for a glorious spot among the top champion leaderboard positions, I would advise you to focus on your goal and reach there as early as possible. Well, because if you are not one of those unbeatable OGs, you may not want to play during the last 2 days of season end, as it literally becomes a bloodbath as all the pro players from around the world get super active during this time and throw everything they have in their arsenal to score wins.
On the other hand, I guess many of you are also spending time in the Frontier mode and building your foundation edition card collection. Like most of you, I am also grinding hard in this newest gameplay mode and fully focused on upgrading my foundation collection to max level. For those who don't know, this newest gameplay mode in splinterlands is completely free to play, which simply means you don't need to buy or rent any cards or SPS in order to start playing this mode. But, you do get rewards for your active participation in the form of foundation cards or packs and not to forget the entries you earned in frontier raffles. Anyway, right now I am playing at the highest Gold I league tier with a current trophy count of 2,960 and so far, I have collected a total of 21 frontier entries for the upcoming raffle. However, I don't have any more high hopes for the raffle, because in the previous 10 raffles, I entered them all with a decent amount of entries, but didn't get anything. So I decided to just focus on completing daily missions while maintaining a healthy battle energy bar, collecting those foundation edition cards, and upgrading my cards until they all reach max level.
Caravan Guard
Now, moving forward, let me come to the main topic of this post, as today, I have come with another amazing Conclave Arcana monster to showcase to all of you. As you have already seen in the thumbnail above, today I will be talking about the Caravan Guard. So, if you are interested in being familiar with this card and know more about it, let’s take a dive without any further ado.
The Caravan Guard is a monster type card that was introduced in the splinterlands game with the launch of the latest Conclave Arcana edition card set. This monster belongs to the Life element and it comes from the Human bloodline. By rarity, it is a common type card, so you would require a total of 400 CC cards in order to upgrade this monster to its max level. This monster only asks for 3 mana to be used in battles, so you can easily fit this card in your lineup when playing low to medium mana limit matches, or the ones with Little League ruleset. The attack type of this card is ranged and apart from having a decent attack power, speed and high health, this monster also features 3 awesome abilities at its max level, which I am going to discuss later in this post. Let us now take a deeper look into this monster’s league wise stats and abilities below to find out more.
BRONZE
At level 3, this monster card possesses pretty decent stats that consist of 1 ranged attack power at 1 speed with 5 health. Apart from that, it also gets an ability called Triage from this level onwards. This healing ability will help you well by protecting your backline monsters.
TRIAGE - Each round, restores 1/3 of max health (rounded down) to the allied backline unit that has taken the most damage.
SILVER
When this monster gets upgraded to level 5, it receives the same 1 ranged attack power at 1 speed with an increased 6 health. Not only that, but it also gets a brand new ability at this level called headwinds, which will weaken all the enemy ranged monsters, giving you a sudden upper hand.
HEADWINDS - -1 ranged power to all enemy units.
GOLD
As you upgrade this monster further to level 8, it gets increased stats with 2 ranged attack power at 3 speed, with 5 health. Though it doesn't get any new abilities at this league level, its increased attack power will definitely help you to take down enemy cards faster.
DIAMOND / CHAMPION
Finally, when you upgrade this monster to its max level of 10, it possesses the same stats as its previous league level - 2 ranged attack power at 3 speed with 5 health. However, it doesn’t disappoint us at its max level, as it gets another powerful ability called Echo, which activates the repair and healing abilities of your friendly monsters.
ECHO - Active abilities (Repair and all healing and cleansing abilities) trigger twice per round.
Last but not least, I think for only a 3 Mana cost, this monster card gives us so many good things. First of all, it carries 2 ranged attacks from Gold league level 8 onwards, which will help you to damage even monsters with shield ability. Next, it has high health and can endure multiple small or medium attacks, whereas its defensive abilities will help your other friendly monsters or weaken enemy ranged monsters. So overall, I think this card is very useful for low mana limit matches and a must have in your collection. What do you think?
