Hello Splinterlands fam!
I hope you all are doing well in life and also enjoying the day with your family and friends. Now, if you are a splinterlands player, I hope you have reached your seasonal goal in the last season, claimed your season-end rewards and now started playing for this fresh new one as well. If we take a look at the current season’s timer, there are still a long 11 days and 21 hours left for this ongoing ranked season to meet its end. So, it's time now to set a new goal, jump into the battlefield and accomplish your mission. But apart from all of that, do not forget to play the other gameplay modes in splinterlands - Tournaments, Brawls, Land and Frontier mode and also try to maintain a healthy battle energy bar throughout, to maximise your reward earnings. So, all the best, my fellow warriors and I hope you reach your goals sooner this time.

Now, moving on, let me talk about the Frontier mode and as usual, I am continuously playing this mode and gladly, some more of my foundation cards have joined the max level club. For those of you who don't know yet, Frontier mode is the latest gameplay mode in splinterlands and this mode is completely free to play, where you do not need to invest in cards or other assets or tokens in order to start playing the game. Now, for me, I have been playing this game for quite a while now and till now, I have participated in the previous 16 frontier raffles back to back, though I haven't won anything cool from the raffle. In the last frontier season, I finished it with 48 raffle entries, a bit less than usual, so I will try to increase the number this time. Right now, after the season reset, I am back down to Gold I entry point and currently playing at the same League tier with a trophy count of 3,760. Let’s now keep playing and let’s see how this season goes for me.

Dar 'Gottem' Gearnut
Moving forward, let me now come to the main topic of this post, as today, I will be talking about another amazing Conclave Arcana monster with you all. As you have already seen in the thumbnail above, today we will be discussing about the Dar ‘Gottem’ Gearnut. So, if you are interested in knowing more about this monster, then let's take a deep dive without any further ado.
The Dar Gottem Gearnut is a special monster with unmatched stats and it is a promo card that was launched recently. This monster belongs to dual elements - Life and Dragon and comes from the Gnome bloodline. This monster costs a whopping 14 mana to be used in battles, so ideally, this monster is suitable when playing large mana limit matches. By rarity, it is a Legendary type card, so you would need a total of 11 CC cards in order to upgrade it to its max level. Apart from a good attack at decent speed with an insane combo of health and armour, this monster also features 4 amazing abilities, which I am going to cover later in this post. Let us now take a deeper look at this card’s league-wise stats and abilities to find out more.

BRONZE
At level 1, this mobster holds a good level of stats, which includes 2 melee attack power at 2 speed with 3 armour and 20 health. Apart from that, it also gets a very useful ability at this level, called Trample.

TRAMPLE - After using a melee attack to defeat an enemy, performs another melee attack against the unit in the next position.
SILVER
As you upgrade this mobster to level 2, it gets even more health added in its stats - 2 melee attack at 2 speed with 3 armour and 22 health. Not only that, but it also gets a new ability at this level called Flank.

FLANK - At the beginning of the battle, if this unit is in the first position, the unit in the second position gains reach ability.
GOLD
When this monster gets upgraded further to level 3, it possesses 3 melee attack power at 3 speed with 4 armour and 24 health. Besides that, it also gets a new ability called Inspire.

INSPIRE - +1 melee attack to all allied units.
DIAMOND / CHAMPION
Finally, when you upgrade this beast to its max level, it receives 3 melee attack at 3 speed with 4 armour and 25 health. Not only that, but it also gets a new ability at its max level called Void.

VOID - 50% less damage (rounded up) from magic attacks or 0 damage from magic attacks of 1 power.
Last but not least, I think this monster is carefully designed to rule the large mana limit matches. Its unmatched health bar will take a handful of big attacks at least before going down. On the other hand, its ability combo will also help you take down enemy cards faster. This is surely an expensive card, but if you really want to rule the arena, it should be in your arsenal. What do you think about it?
I hope you enjoyed reading my post about the DAR ‘GOTTEM’ GEARNUT. Let me know your thoughts about today's post in the comments section below, and I look forward to seeing you all in my next post.
