Hello Splinterlands fam!
Its’s a dark day in crypto and I know all pf us are in shock after witnessing one of the harshest crashes in the history of cryptocurrency. When I woke up and saw the bloody market, I was in shock for a moment thinking what would have done this unthinkable overnight. Turns out, the recent tariff imposed in China by USA is the main reason behind this. But worry not my friends, as being an old dog in this space, I have experienced and survived multiple bears and I do know for a fact that this one shall pass as well. Anyway, I guess all of you are also positive about this and not panicking to sell your assets, because weak hands have no place in this space. In fact, if you can, this may be the right time to invest in your favourite tokens/ projects and accumulate for the golden days.
Anyway, let us now talk about the ongoing ranked season and if you are actively playing in this ranked season, I guess that you have already reached your goal in this season, but if not, you may need to focus more pour more strength into the battlefield. Because looking at the season timer, we inly have around 3 days and 22 hours left in hand before this season meet its end and as expected, the season end bloodbath will start pretty soon, if not happening already. So, it would be best to reach whatever goals you have set for yourself, whether it is to enter a certain league tier and book those reward chests or to compete and secure a glorious spot in the top champion leaderboard.
Now for me, I am as usual playing the frontier mode but this season, I couldn’t play daily because of some health issues. Anyway, I am back now and already completed all 3 daily quests of today and also claimed my rewards. Last season, I accumulated a total of 63 Frontier entries but sadly, even after collecting so many entries, I could not get any reward from the raffle. I really though my luck would finally shine after the hard work, so it broke my heart badly but I will continue my journey anyway and hope to get at least one of those rare foil foundation cards one day. This season, as I said, I haven't utilised my battle energies and so far, I am only able to collect 24 entries so far. So, I am not expecting anything from this season’s raffle. However, I am still saving all my earned Foundation packs and have collected total 29 foundation packs so far. Let’s see how my more I can precent myself from opening them, because I don't think I can wait until they turned 100.
DECREPIT WINDSEER
Now moving forward, let me come to the main topic of this post as today, I will be talking about another amazing Conclave Arcana td wit you all. As you have already seen in the thumbnail above, today I will be discussing about the Decrepit Windseer. So, if you want to know more about this monster, let’s take a jump right into it without any further ado.
The Decrepit Windseer is a monster type card that was first introduced in splinterlands with the launch of the latest Conclave Arcana edition card-set. This monster card belongs to the Earth element and comes from the Elf bloodline. In order to use this monster, you need to spend only 4 mana, so you can easily choose this monster in your lineup when playing small to medium mana limit matches, or the ones with Little League ruleset. By rarity, it is a legendary card, so you would require a total of 11 CC cards to upgrade this monster to its max level. The attack type of this card is tanged and the best feature of this card apart from decent attack and speed with high health is its big pack of 5 abilities, which I am going to talk about later in this post. Let us now take a deeper look into this card’s league wise stats and abilities to find out more.
BRONZE
At level 1, this monster card possesses a decent stats of 1 ranged attack power at 3 speed with 5 health. Apart from that, it also gets a powerful ability called Bloodline Tribute with which, it increases the stats of same bloodline monsters in your lineup.
BLOODLINE TRIBUTE - When defeated, all allied units of the same bloodline gain +1 health, speed, and armour and +1 power to each shared attack type.
SILVER
When this monster gets upgraded to the next level 2, there it receives the same stats as of its previous level - 1 ranged attack power at 3 speed with 5 health. But, it does get a new ability at this level as well, which is called Thorns and I guess all of you already know how dangerous this ability is against melee monsters.
THORNS - Returns 2 physical damage to attacker when hit by a melee attack.
GOLD
As you upgrade this monster card further to level 3, it possesses the same 1 ranged attack power at 3 speed with an increased 6 health. Bot only that, but it also get 2 brand new abilities at this level called Reveal and Close Range, both of which suddenly make this monster way more useful.
REVEAL - Each round applies Revealed to a Camouflaged enemy unit. Revealed units can be targeted by direct attacks.
CLOSE RANGE - Can use ranged attacks from the first position.
DIAMOND / CHAMPION
Finally when this monster gets upgraded to its max level 4, there it gets an increased 2 ranged attack power at 3 speed with 6 health. Apart from the increased firepower, it also gets a brand new ability called Echo at its max level with which, all repair, cleansing and healing are restored.
ECHO - Activate abilities (Repair and all healing and cleansing abilities) trigger twice per round.
As you can clearly see, though this monster foes not possess immense attack, but its ability combo is very useful and makes this card a superior choice under many circumstances. On one hand, it can be used as a front defence card due to its close range and thorns, and on the other hand, it can strengthen other cards with Bloodline Tribute, Reveal and Echo. So overall, I think it is a very important monster to keep in your arsenal and use in battles whenever you feel the need, what do you think?
