Hello Splinterlands fam!
Welcome to another splinterlands post and I hope all of you are doing well and back into action after enjoying the weekend. If you do not know, splinterlands has just dropped another bomb by announcing their upcoming reward card set and the whole community is pretty hyped up with this upcoming update. Yes, the long awaited Conclave Arcana reward set is about to get launched in splinterlands finally, and I guess all of you are excited about this new batch of cards. As per the official post, there will be a full new reward set that will consist of a total of 43 brand new cards, including 12 common, 12 rare, 7 epic and 12 legendary cards and it's pretty obvious that the whole gameplay is about to experience a massive change as soon as they become live in the game. Not only that, but with this upcoming reward set, there will be some groundbreaking changes in how you receive them, where the standard foil cards will be soulbound when you first receive them, but for premium back foil and gold foils, they will not be soulbound and can be transferred immediately without any hassle.
Another great change can also be seen regarding acquiring these cards, where you can, as usual, earn the regular and gold foil cards through ranked battle loot chests and also by purchasing card draws in the glint shop, but the black foil and both black and gold foil arcane cards can only be obtained through the weekly fortune draws. So, let’s prepare for this upcoming change in the game and fill your bags with those naw dropping brand new reward cards asap.
Now, talking about my own performance in the game, I am, as usual, playing the Frontier mode and though I did miss playing the first few days of this frontier season, I am playing seriously since the last 2 days and have pushed my trophy count to 3,080. The next frontier draw is about to happen in only 1 hour and 13 minutes and sadly, I failed to collect a good amount of frontier entries like the last time and only gathered 45 entries this time. So, I am not expecting anything from the draw and by chance, if I manage to get any cards, it will be wild! Anyway, I am still saving all the foundation packs that I am earning from the daily missions and till now. I am able to gather a total of 35 foundation packs. Let’s now see how much more time it takes to collect the rest and reach 100 packs.
MAHKAH HEMLIG
Now moving forward, let me come to the main topic of this post, as today, I will be talking about another amazing Conclave Arcana card with you all. As you have already seen in the thumbnail above, today I will be discussing the Mahkah Hemlig. So, if you are interested in knowing the details and features of this monster card, let’s take a dive without any further ado.
The Mahkah Hemlig is a monster type card that was first seen in splinterlands after the launch of the Conclave Arcana core edition card set. This monster belongs to the Earth element and it comes from the Minotaur bloodline. By rarity, it is a Legendary type card, so you would require a total of 11 CC cards in order to upgrade this card to its max level. Now, Mahkah takes a huge 9 mana cost to be used in battles, so it is ideal to use this card when playing medium to high mana cap limit matches. The attack type of this monster is magic and apart from a big magic attack, this mobster also features a large health and speed, along with 4 awesome abilities, which I am about to discuss later j this post. Let us now take a deeper look at this card’s league wise stats and abilities to find out more.
BRONZE
Even at level 1, this monster card possesses gigantic stats of 4 magic attack power at 4 speed with 3 health, along with the Opportunity ability. Though its magic attack alone is enough to justify its mana cost, the opportunity ability on top of that will enable it to target the enemy monster with the lowest health. So, this monster will be very deadly against low health monsters.
OPPORTUNITY
- Targets the enemy unit with the least health.
SILVER
When you upgrade this monster to its next level 2, it receives the same 4 magic attack power at 4 speed but with an increased 4 health. Not only that, but it also gets a new ability at this level called Deflect. This ability will protect it from getting any damage from magic reflect, so you can use this monster without any tension against monsters with magic reflect abilities.
DEFLECT
- 0 damage from Corrosive Ward, Magic Reflect, Thorns, Return Fire m, and Blast splash damage.
GOLD
As this monster gets upgraded to level 3, its health also receives a further increment, as now it holds 4 magic attack power at 4 speed with 5 health. Apart from that, it also gets a brand new ability called Scavenger, which will increase its max health and enhance your overall defence power.
SCAVENGER
- +1 health and max health each time any unit is defeated.
DIAMOND / CHAMPION
Finally, when you upgrade this monster to its max level of 4, there it possesses the same 4 magic attack power at 4 speed with a further increased 6 health, along with a brand new healing ability called Triage. So, now you get a backline healing monster with deadly magic attack and other useful abilities.
TRIAGE
- Each round, restores 1/3 of max health (rounded down) to the allied backline unit that has taken the most damage.
Last but not least, this monster is literally an overpowered beast with a deadly magic attack that will directly hit the health, target the enemy monster with the lowest health, refuses to receive any damage from magic reflect, increases its max health whenever any monster dies and can heal backline wounded monsters. If you did not like this monster for its high mana cost, I hope that after acknowledging all these features, you will change your mind. Thus, I definitely think this monster should have a place in your arsenal. What do you think?
