Hello Splinterlands fam!
I hope you all are doing well in your lives and enjoying a peaceful day with your family and coworkers. Suppose you are seriously into splinterlands and play this game dedicatedly on a daily basis. In that case, you must be a part of the last ranked season as well, which ended just recently, with another fresh new season already. For those of you who played in the last ranked season, I guess all of you have reached your goals and claimed your season-end glint rewards. It is time now for you to jump into this fresh new one and looking at the season timer, we have a long 12 days in hand before this season meets its end. So, apart from checking in tournaments, brawls and frontier, whatever goals you have thought of, especially for this new ranked season, be it reaching a certain league tier and winning lucrative reward chests or competing in the top champion leaderboard for a glorious seat and winning insane DEC token rewards. So, all the best, my fellow Splinterlands warriors and I hope you reach your destination soon.
Now, talking about me, I am, as usual, playing the frontier mode with all my focus right now. This new gameplay mode is completely free-to-play, where you can start by playing the free campaign mode and earn yourself some foundation edition cards, then use those cards to start playing the frontier mode, and as you gradually grow, you will start earning more foundation cards or packs depending on your league level. I am playing at the highest Gold I league tier with a current trophy count of 3,060. Having another 12 days in hand, there’s a long way for me, so I will just focus on balancing my battle energy bar and completing 2 or 3 reward missions daily.
In the screenshots above, I have shared the openings of my last couple of foundation packs. As I continue playing in the Gold league in Frontier mode, I am getting 1 foundation pack and 3 raffle tickets for completing every daily mission. So, each day I win 3 or at least 2 packs per day, which is definitely boosting my foundation card collection. In the first opening, I pulled 3 foundation packs that I earned only by playing yesterday and got myself 1 epic, 1 rare archon and 2 more rare cards and the rest were common cards. In the second opening, I opened 2 packs, which I earned today and received myself 3, and the rest were common cards, including 2 neutral opportunity cards, Vengeful Monks. My next goal is to upgrade some of my Archons to their max level 5. Let’s see how much time it takes for me to upgrade my whole Foundation collection to max level.
Auroral Elemental
Now, moving forward, let me come to the main topic of this post, as today, I will be discussing about another amazing Conclave Arcana monster with you all. As you have already seen in the thumbnail, today I will be talking about the Auroral Elemental. So, if you are interested in knowing more about this monster, let's then take a dive without any further ado.
The Auroral Elemental is a monster-type card that was first seen in the game with the launch of the latest Conclave Arcana core edition cards. This monster belongs to the Life element and comes from the Elemental bloodline. This monster costs only 5 mana to be used in battles, so ideally, you can select this beast in your lineup when playing low to medium mana limit matches. The rarity of this card is Epic, so you would require a total of 46 CC cards to upgrade this monster to its max level. Apart from a high melee attack power, this monster also features a string combo of health + armour with decent speed and 3 abilities at its max level, which I am going to talk about later in this post. Let us now take a look at its league-wise stats and abilities to find out more.
BRONZE
At level 2, this monster possesses powerful stats of 2 melee attack at 2 speed with 4 armour and 4 health, along with the Reach ability. Even since its initial level, this monster gets defensive stats along with the Reach ability, which will enable this monster to attack from second place in the lineup.
REACH - Can use melee attacks from the second position.
SILVER
When you upgrade this monster to level 3, its stats get increased to 2 melee attack at 2 speed with 3 armour and 4 health. Jot only that, but it also gets a new ability called Protect, which will now provide a shield to all your friendly monsters.
PROTECT - +2 armor to all allied units.
GOLD
As this monster gets upgraded further to level 5, it receives a buffed-up stats of 3 melee attack power at 3 speed with 4 armour and 4 health. Apart from that, it also gets a brand new ability called Enfeeble, which will weaken enemy melee attackers.
ENFEEBLE - -1 to target’s melee power after each successful attack.
DIAMOND / CHAMPION
Finally, when this monster gets upgraded to its max level of 6, it possesses a whopping 4 melee attack power at 3 speed with 4 armour and 4 health. Though it doesn't get any new abilities at its max level, its enhanced melee attack will help you even more now to take down even those big enemy monsters.
Last but not least, this monster is a solid choice for small-scale battles, positioned as a front defence. It will also be super useful in matches with melee mayhem or super sneak ruleset because of its packaging. On top of that, its protect ability is super useful and in certain cases, you can also make a big difference with enfeeble ability. Overall, I think it is a very good monster to keep in your collection. What do you think?
