Hello Splinterlands fam!
I hope you all are doing well in your lives and spending an amazing day with your family and friends. The weekend is coming soon and while the whole world is waiting eagerly to enjoy the weekend, the splinterlands players, however, will not join the fun. Because the season end is coming soon and if we take a look at this ongoing ranked season's timer, only 3 days and 17 hours left for this season to meet its end. I know all of you who play this game seriously are already fighting in the arena with a goal set in mind, either to reach a certain league tier or to compete against the OGs and secure a spot in the top champion leaderboard. With only some time left in hand, I guess many of you have already reached your goals and if not, you have to hurry, my friend, because there is not much time left before the Top players with their complete card collection and unbeatable strategies will start playing hyperactively, turning the entire battle arena into a bloodbath. So, if you don't want to get caught up in a world war, it would be best to complete your goal as early as possible and then watch the war from afar as a spectator.
On the other hand, just like the ranked season, the frontier season is also on full hype and if you are an existing splinterlands player, most probably you are also engaging in this newly launched free-to-play mode in the game. Yes, if you don't know about this amazing new mode in the game, the Frontier mode is completely free to play and doesn't require you to invest even a single dime to start playing and progressing in this mode. On top of that, the rewards that you earn in the form of foundation cards or packs by playing this mode can be sold for DEC crypto token, thus earning you for your time and effort. Now talking about myself, I have been playing this mode for quite some time now and currently, I am playing at the Gold I league tier with a trophy count of 3,260. With another almost 4 days in hand before this ongoing frontier season ends, I think I can gran another 200-300 trophies but as more and more people are joining and competitively playing, winning like before is becoming harder these days. On the other hand, there are still almost 4 days left for the current frontier raffle to end as well and so far, I have collected a total of 21 entries and am trying my best to reach 50+ entries this time as well. But all the previous raffles that I have entered had only brought me sadness, as I have not won anything from the raffle, but who knows if something shiny is waiting for me in the near future? So, I will just keep playing and focus on completing my max-level foundation collection.
SILVERLEAF WARLOCK
Moving forward, let me now come to the main topic of this post, as today, I will be talking about another amazing Conclave Arcana card with you all. As you have already seen in the thumbnail above, today I will be talking about the Silverleaf Warlock. So, if you are interested in knowing more about it, let’s take a dive without any further ado.
The Silverleaf Warlock is a monster type card that was discovered in splinterlands with the launch of the latest Conclave Arcana edition card set. This monster belongs to the Death element and it comes from the Elf bloodline. In order to use this card in battles, you would need to spend 6 mana, so you can easily select this monster when playing medium to high mana limit matches. By rarity, it is a common type of card. So you would require a total of 400 CC cards to upgrade this card to its max level. The attack type of this card is magic and apart from a decent attack power, it also features a high amount of health and speed with 3 abilities at its max level, which I will be talking about later in this post. Let us now take a deeper look at this card’s league wise stats and abilities below to find out more.
BRONZE
At level 3, this monster card gets decent stats of 2 magic attack power at 3 speed with 5 health. Apart from that, it also gets an ability called Swift since its initial level, which is a speed agent ability that increases the speed of every friendly monster.
SWIFT - +1 speed to all allied units.
SILVER
As you upgrade this monster to level 5, it receives the same stats as its bronze league level 2 magic attack power at 3 speed with 5 health. But gladly, it does get a new ability at this level called Backfire, which will return damage to enemy attackers if they miss an attack on this monster.
BACKFIRE - When an enemy unit misses, it deals 2 physical damage to them.
GOLD
When this monster gets upgraded to level 8, it possesses increased stats of 2 magic attack power at 3 speed, with 8 health. Though it does not get any new abilities at this level, its increased health bar will help this monster absorb more attacks before going down.
DIAMOND / CHAMPION
Finally, when you upgrade this monster to its max level of 10, it receives 2 magic attack power at 4 speed with 8 health. Not only that, but gladly, it also gets a new ability at its max level called Blind.
BLIND - All enemy Melee and Ranged attacks have a 15% higher chance of missing their target. Blind also affects units with phase.
Last but not least, if you are a fan of magic attack cards, I think you will love to use this card in your battles. Because of its high health bar, it can be used as a defence card and on top of it, all the 3 abilities that it has are helpful to dodge attacks, so expect to evade at least a few melee or ranged attacks from enemy monsters. Overall, this is a good choice to keep in your hand when you want to go with a defensive approach. What do you think?
