Hello, everyone! Today I'm back with more content for this week's Splinterlands social media challenge.
Over the last few days, the Splinterlands team has been announcing some pretty interesting things, so I'll be going over them in this post. Without further ado, let's get started!
¡Saludos a todos! Hoy vuelvo nuevamente con más contenido para esta semana participar en el desafio de redes sociales de Splinterlands.
En estos ultimos dias, el equipo de Splinterlands ha estado anunciando cosas bastante interesantes, asi que estaré repasandolas durante esta publicación. Sin mas que decir, ¡empecemos!
The Splinterlands team announced mid-season that they were going to implement the new reward set from the Arcane Conclave collection.
When it came out, I didn't consider it such good news. It turns out that during this time, I hadn't managed to improve all my cards in the Rebellion set, which upset me because I had played so much and hadn't been able to get them to the maximum level. But at least I was very happy with some of the changes they made to the rewards for that season.
El equipo de Splinterlands ha anunciado a mitad de temporada, que iban a implementar el nuevo set de recompensas de la colección Conclave Arcana.
Para el momento en el que salio, no la consideraba una tan buena noticia. Resulta que todo en este tiempo, no habia logrado mejorar todas mis cartas del set Rebellion, lo que me angustiaba haber jugado tanto y no poder haberlas subido al nivel máximo. Pero por lo menos, estaba muy contento con algunos cambios que hicieron en las recompensas para esa temporada.
Since the changes were implemented mid-season, I didn't have an excessive amount of GLINT to spend, but I did have what I had accumulated over about 4 or 5 days of play, which was around 60,000 GLINT.
With that amount of GLINT, I was able to buy about sixty rare cards, which was great for building a good foundation of cards from this set. So without hesitation, I spent it all on that. I also tried to acquire about 60 alchemy potions to see if I would get lucky and get my first GF.
Como los cambios se implementaron a mitad de temporada, no contaba con una cantidad exagerada de GLINT para gastar, pero sí con lo que había acumulado durante unos 4 o 5 días de juego, que rondaba aproximadamente los 60.000 GLINT.
Con esa cantidad de GLINT, me alcanzó para comprar unas sesenta cartas raras, que me venian excelente para tener una buena base de las cartas de este set. Asi que sin dudarlo, lo gasté todo en ello. También intenté adquirir unas 60 pociones de alquimia, para ver si tenia suerte y obtenia mi primera GF.
In the first thirty cards of the opening, I was lucky enough to get my first rare Gold Foil card from the Conclave Arcana set.
Most importantly, after this update, any card we get in that version is fully transferable, and considering its value, the opening has been quite profitable.
En las primeras treintas cartas de la apertura, tuve la suerte de obtener mi primera carta rara Gold Foil del set Conclave Arcana.
Lo más importante, es que tras esta actualización, cualquier carta que obtengamos en esa versión es totalmente transferible, y si tenemos en cuenta su valor, ha salido bastante rentable la apertura.
In the last batch of thirty cards, I haven't been lucky enough to get another GF. It's a shame, because I spent 30 alchemy potions, which are moderately priced, so I was hoping to have a little more luck and get at least one.
At least I got a copy of Torrent Sniper, which I managed to sell for about $2 or $3, giving me a good foundation to continue renting cards and SPS. In the meantime, I'll keep adding regular foil cards to complete my collection.
This new mechanic, which allows gold cards to be transferable, makes the game much more profitable, as we no longer depend solely on profits obtained in SPS to earn the occasional profit in DEC.
En el ultimo bache de treinta cartas, no he vuelto a tener suerte obteniendo otra GF. Es una lastima, porque me gasté 30 pociones de alquimia que tienen un coste moderado, asi que esperaba tener un poquito de más suerte y llevarme al menos una.
Por lo menos, he obtenido una copia de Torrent Sniper, que en su momento he logrado venderla en apróximadamente 2 o 3 dólares, para tener una buena base para seguir alquilando cartas y SPS. Mientras tanto, iré sumando cartas de regular foil para ir completando mi colección.
Esta nueva mecanica que permite que las cartas doradas sean transferibles, vuelve al juego mucho más rentable, ya que ahora no dependemos unicamente de las ganancias obtenidas en SPS para conseguir alguna que otra ganancia en DEC.
Prices have gone up quite a bit in the GLINT store, both for purchasing chests and cards, but at least now there is the possibility of making a profit for each reward card we get.
I plan to invest what I earn from selling those cards in renting a better deck each season or purchasing a card I need to get better results in competitive play.
The price increase in the store isn't the only new feature that has been introduced. They have also added a new mechanic that allows you to convert common cards from the Arcane Conclave set into transferable cards using a scroll of the same rarity type.
Han subido bastante los precios en la tienda de GLINT, tanto para adquirir cofres como para cartas, pero por lo menos ahora existe la posibilidad de obtener una ganancia por cada carta de recompensa que conseguimos.
Tengo pensado invertir lo obtenido con la venta de esas cartas, en poder permitirme alquilar un mejor deck cada temporada o adquirir una carta que necesite para obtener mejores resultados en competitivo.
El aumento de precios en la tienda, no es la unica novedad que ha salido, sino que también han agregado una nueva mecanica que permite convertir las cartas del set Conclave Arcana comunes en transferibles, utilizando un pergamino que pertenezca al mismo tipo de rareza.
I'm glad that the Splinterlands team has added these new ways to earn rewards, which will help encourage more players to play the competitive format more often.
