I did not take much notice until recently in the past couple of days when it came to earning daily rewards in potions. For those who have played the game for years you would know in the past when a potion is rewarded it comes in singles and either Alchemy or Legendary. Yet now we are having chests reward multiple potions!
Both Legendary and Alchemy potions are over 30 DEC each if bought straight from the market. Yet we can be earning more than 10x of each potion per a reward chest!
An example of what I pulled the other day in four chests is shown above. I got 15 potions in total from four chests. The intrinsic value of the potions alone are close to 500 DEC. Not necessarily a downside but players can not sell or trade potions. Still it changes the landscape for players to open packs while holding potions.
Are Potions Useful?

Increase odds of pulling higher rarity card and even legendary would be beneficial. Although percentage boost is not extremely better it will still give better odds of pulling one a more valuable card. The packs themselves are limited so its better to use potions when opening packs.
Conclusions
Boosting Alchemy and Legendary potions collections for the long haul can potentially reap rewards when I open booster packs in bulk. The plan is to accumulate potions and now that we can have multiple potions per a chest I can stash away potions much quicker. Each pack will use 5 Alchemy and 5 Legendary potions for a total of 10 potions. With the amount of my potions currently saved I have enough to open over 220 packs. All in all this is great news to players who play daily and accumulate their rewards.

I thought they'd been doing this for a few weeks already but I could be wrong. They decided potion rewards should be higher depending on your league just like everything else. Its a nice perk for sure.

The potions come in very handy if you have packs. Lets you hold some good value and keep that DEC instead of buying them. Feels like you might get a little too many of them compared to some of the other rewards though.

That is a lot of potions and I regret not having potions when I opened packs around the time I started playing. Either way, I think it's only useful if you have packs though.
