I have recently notice a neat combination of blast ability with others that makes blast much more damaging toward opponent than I previously would have thought could be done. The following discussion is really focusing on multiplying the blast ability.
Blast Ability
The blast ability produces additional damage to monsters adjacent to the target monster. Now never would I have realize that if I was attacking a monster in the middle of a formation would the blast ability basically knock the monster in front and behind with blast!
Battle Example of Opportunity and Blast rule set
We talked about how blast can do damage against an opponent if the friendly monster attacks a monster in the middle of the formation. In example above the Silvershield Knight had the highest speed and was first to attack. Since it had Opportunity it basically attacked the Armorsmith. In addition blast was performed on both Baby Unicorn and Bila the Radiant. The reason why this happens is because the Armorsmith's adjacent monsters were adjacent monsters hence the additional damage.
In the same battle double strike from Hobgoblin deal double the attack and blast.
Right after Silvershield Knight's attack it was Hobgoblin next due to its speed of 3. Hobgoblin's opportunity went straight to Armorsmith and basically knocking it out.
Three monsters taking damage would not be over yet. Hobgoblin's double strike activates and attacks again with 3 melee attack. Since Armorsmith is gone the next weakest monster is Baby Unicorn.
Hobgoblins melee attack is enough to knock out Baby Unicorn. On top of that since the monster has Goblin Mech in front and Bila behind the two monsters are attacked with blast. In summary Hobgoblin knocked out two monsters and damaged two others with Bila down to a health of 2.
You maybe thinking right now how on earth can one get blast and opportunity in the mix for combos. Well the interesting part here is that blast is the integral part of a multi-combo of abilities. Since blast will damage adjacent monsters players can use not only opportunity but snipe ability could potentially have the three monsters damage in one attack too. This makes a combination of blast + snipe or blast + opportunity very doable with a total of 28 monsters currently having either snipe or opportunity. By being able to attack a monster in the middle of the formation it basically allows you to attack once and deal damage three times to separate monsters.
Conclusions
If we can stake on top of blast and either opportunity or snipe with a third ability one can only imagine how damaging all this could be against the opponent. In the example match above it is what exactly could happen. Double strike on top of blast and opportunity makes it that much more power of an attack.
The next time you see a monster with blast be mindful if you can have that monster be able to attack your opponent in the middle of their formation to create a 3x in damage while attacking only once.
Currently there is up to 28 monsters with blast ability while 26 can be used in ranked battles.
Having a plan to integrating blast with other abilities may just lead you to something very special that you do not see everyday. That is attack once but damage multiple monsters in that one attack.

The Blast ability is surprisingly versatile especially if coupled with either opportunity or snipe.

You might want to combine Yodin with Serpentine Spy. Serpentine Spy has a very high dmg output + high speed meaning you can have this killer combi every time....
Yeah that is a good combo. Add in Fire Beetle and/or Ferexia General with snipe and inspire with Yodin it makes sense why Yodin is so hated lol. Thanks for dropping by. !PIZZA
