We have had series of ruleset that requires use of heavy shield or armour but today we will be focusing on a more intriguing ruleset that needs players to device alternative strategy used to protect their lineup, this week battle ruleset unprotected removes unit monster shield and armour which mean we will not be gaining additional shield to protect a monster health also shield repair monster will not be effective in this ruleset.
With that been said we should note this, monsters with divine shield are unaffected in this ruleset, a player can come up with a unit monster ranging from melee, range and magic, other abilities monsters can also be used in this ruleset opportunity monster will be of good advantage here as they will directly affect opponent monsters health, healing monster can be of good support to a unit tank when in battle arena.
Here is the battle link against a water element opponent we happen to come up with same element this time what a coincidence.
Battle ruleset
All armour is removed from unit and unit monsters can not get armour repair the ruleset is quite straightforward and requires one to well choose their battle lineup, for this ruleset one need to have to come up with a combat strategy using low health tank will not be of great advantage neither will using a low speed tank which mean combining tank with good health, speed and attacking power will be an added advantage in addition since repair shield monsters will not be used health repair monster will be awesome in this battle to tweak your battling strategy add a tank with divine shield with support of good sneak and subsequent attacking monsters to support your tank.
Battle detail
It's a battle of water element monster against water element my opponent was a bit well prepared for this ruleset 28 cost mana cap was given for each player to come up with their lineup monster we both came up with the same water element summoners it was a battle of four against six but in the end I emerge victorious as my lineup monster was a bit tactical than that of my opponent although the match almost ended draw but at last victory was declared.
Battle lineup
DJINN OSHANNUS first on my frontline battle lineup is a legendary magic attacking monster with void ability this ability help reduce magic attacks from other opponent magic monsters by 50% since most magic monsters attacks an opponent tank first placing DJINN OSHANNUS as my tank is a good option also this monster have a good health and speed suitable for a tank and this ruleset with makes it a viable option for a tank in this ruleset.
MERDAALI GUARDIAN a good tank isn't complete without a healing monster since repair shield will not be used in this ruleset health repair monster will be used as a good supporting team lineup MERDAALI GUARDIAN gives additional plus three health to a tank anytime it health is reduced.
DEEPLURKER is an opportunity attacking monster unprotected battle ruleset doesn't give shield to monster this means an opportunity monster can easily eliminate an opponent lineup monster without hesitation as it health is vulnerable to attack at all time.
AXEMASTER this is a range attacking monster placing them at backend is always the best option as they can't attack from front position AXEMASTER has the ability to attack twice it has good speed and attacking power which barely miss on an opponent it attacks an opponent tank with it double strikes.
My strategy
For this ruleset I chose to come up with four monster three of which can attack an opponent aggressively while one supports with giving additional health the idea for this ruleset was to strike fast as I can so I can quickly decapitated my opponent using my range double strike monster and my tank on the other hand my opportunity monster will be busy infiltrating my opponent monsters from behind and middle.
My strategy was very simple unfortunately my healing monster was eliminated quickly leaving my tank monster to stand on it own also my range monster was vulnerable to attack as my opponent come up with opportunity monster although at the end my strategy did workout even though my healing monster was out of the battle at first few rounds.
Battle arena
The battle lasted eight rounds a battle of four against six turn very intense as monsters got eliminated each round the heat was building up my opportunity monster did almost all the elimination in the battle arena it speed was put to test and it did quite incredible, my opponent as well came up with good monster lineup their sneak magic monster almost got rid of my range attacking monster but my opportunity monster did what it knows best this time luck and strategy favours the brave.
Round 1 the battle is set round one my range attacking monster strike twice and eliminated my opponent first frontline tank that was quite quick my healing monster was as well eliminated at this round by my opponent opportunity monster.
Round 2 it's now three against four my opportunity monster got a chance to eliminate my opponent magic monster with no monster eliminated at my side but my range monster health has been affected badly.
Round 3 my range monster could barely make it to the next round my opponent sneak magic monster is also eliminated again by my opportunity monster making it two against three.
Round 4 this round no monster is eliminated my tank and my opponent last line monster health are affected badly let's see if they can make it to the next round.
Round 5 my range monster made it to end of round five while my opponent last line monster was eliminated it's now two against two.
Round 6 finally my tank is out of the battle arena leaving only my opportunity monster to champion the battle.
Round 7 My opportunity monster strike against my opponent tank and it got element leaving both opportunity monster at the end of round 8.
Round 8 my opponent opportunity miss it last attack on my opportunity monster this gave me opportunity to strike and won the battle.
