Given that the season's end is bringing me about 145K Glint, I decided to make an experiment and buy similar amounts of cards from each category, to study the drop chance. Got enough potions for both Legendary and Alchemy, so the show can and must go on!
Master Draw - batch 1 - 10 cards
Elite Draw - batch 1 - 10 cards
Veteran Draw - batch 1 - 10 cards
Adept Draw - batch 1 - 10 cards
Initiate Draw - batch 1 - 10 cards
Veteran Draw - batch 2 - 10 cards
Veteran Draw - batch 3 - 10 cards
Adept Draw - batch 2 - 10 cards
Initiate Draw - batch 2 - 10 cards
Merits batch 1, 2 and 3 - 3 x 2000 for 2000, 3000 and 4500 Glint.
Now it is time to crunch some numbers:
Master draw - 1 batch - 10% Legendary 10% Epic, no gold. 80 cards
Elite draw - 1 batch - 20% Epic, no Legendary, no gold, 35 cards
Veteran draw - 3 batches - 10% Epic, 3.33% Gold, no Legendary. I got 35 cards, then 10 cards, then 27 regular and 2 gold cards.
Adept Draw - 2 batches - No Epic, Legend or gold. I got 15 and 17 regular cards.
Initiate Draw - 2 batches - 10, and 10 regular cards. 1 Gold card.
So for the future my strategy will be to get a Master draw if I can afford it, 2 Initiate and 2 Adept draws, as they are cheap, and then 3-4 batches of Veteran draw, which seems the most cost effective. 2-3 batches of Merits too, Gladiator cards are powerful still.
How do you sort this out?
