Hey Splinterlands friends! How are you all? I hope you are enjoying new battles and strategies every day. Today, I am here to share some of my memorable battle experiences from last week, where there were two great wins and one loss, from which I learned a lot.

First battle: Unexpected victory against the Life team
This match was quite tense for me. The opponent took the Life element — always a strong team. At first, I thought, “Today might be a little difficult!” But I played coolly until the very end and won brilliantly.
Match details:
My Summoner: Alric Stormbringer
Opponent: Lyanna Natura
My setup:
I understood that they would focus more on Melee or Range attacks. So I created a team where each card’s function is different — someone will defend, someone will attack, someone will finish from the back.
First position: Molten Elemental — Its Flying ability avoids many attacks, so I put it in front.
Second: Chaos Furybringer — Can attack from the second position because of Reach.
Third: Vengeful Monk — Targets the opponent's weak cards with the Opportunity ability.
Fourth: Kanaa'q Miner — Breaks the backline with a sneak attack.
Finally: Great Bear Druid — Strong health and attack, a perfect support tank.

Result:
The match gradually went in my favour. The opponent's big cards were falling one by one. When the victory was finally confirmed, I was really surprised — I didn't think such a strategy would work so well!
With that victory, I moved up to the Bronze II league.

Second battle: Blood and Sunder — Destruction with intelligence
I knew before this match started that even a small mistake here would mean game over. Mana was 96 — big match!
The rule was “Blood and Sunder”. That means, all cards will have Corrosive Ward—the one who attacks Melee will destroy his own armour.
Match Setup:
Summoner: Reklah Undead (Death)
Rule: Blood and Sunder
Using Melee in this rule means a suicidal attack! So I emphasised magic and balanced cards.
First: Ulundin Overseer – when placed in front, it gives Reach to the second card, and also increases armour.
Second: Helheim Demon – draws all the opponent's attacks towards him with its Taunt ability.
Third: Gravebrand Warlock – a monster in magic damage!
Fourth: Sorrow Harvester – reduces the health of the entire team with Weaken.
Finally: Great Bear Druid and Black Widow — balance the team.

Result:
Everything went exactly as planned. The opponent probably didn't pay attention to the rule properly — they sat down with too many Melee cards! When they hit my Helheim Demon, they started losing their armour on their own. By the end, I could barely stop laughing—the whole match seemed to be written in my script!

Third Battle: Explosive Weaponry — I was going to win, but the loss taught me a lot
Luck doesn’t always help. This match was a 40-man, rule “Explosive Weaponry” — meaning all cards have Blast abilities. At first, I thought, “This time it’s going to be an explosive fight!” But in reality, it went against me.
Match Setup:
Summoner: Marlai Singariel (Water)
Mana cap: 40
Rules: Explosive Weaponry
I thought my magic cards were enough because Ulundin Overseer and Commander Slade were on the team.
But the opponent arranged the cards very cleverly. Their speed was high, and the positioning was such that my Blast damage actually went in their favour
At some point, I realised that in this rule, strong cards are not enough; speed and proper positioning are the real weapons.

Result:
I lost, but it was a learning match. I learned—defeat in Splinterlands often teaches more than winning.

Current status and some personal feelings
After these three matches, I am now ranked 161 on the leaderboard. Only 100 points are needed to get to the Bronze 1 League.
This season is “Hallow’s Fall”, and the “Blood Moon” modifier is running—the whole game feels different now.
Honestly, the biggest fun of Splinterlands is—each match is a story, sometimes exciting, sometimes surprising. Just as I am learning, you too will accumulate your own experience. This game is not just about fighting—it is a game of strategy, patience, and learning.
