How are you all? I am starting my gaming experience today by greeting everyone. As I do every week, I participated in Splinterlands' Weekly Social Media Challenge this time as well. This game is not just a simple card game for me, but it is a great test of patience and intelligence. In today's post, I will talk about two special battles I played, where I lost in one and won in the other by correcting that mistake. Additionally, I will also tell you about two great new cards I recently purchased from the market to strengthen my deck or card collection.

First Battle: Defeat due to mistakes

The first match was a ranked match in the Bronze League. In this battle, the Mana Cap was 35, and the rules set were "Standard". That is, the game will be played according to the normal rules of the game. I chose my favourite Death Splinter with quite confidence. I thought this deck would be the best to defeat the opponent.

But after the game started, I realised that I had made a big mistake. My card positioning was completely wrong. I may not have arranged the support cards behind the tank correctly. The opponent used Death Splinter, and the speed and attack of his cards shattered my defence.

I was quite excited while playing the game, but when I saw my cards getting knocked out one after another, I felt very bad. In fact, this loss showed me how important it is not only to have good cards in Splinterlands but also to place them in the right places. I lost 20 rating points by losing the match, which was quite disappointing.

Second Battle: Great victory by correcting mistakes

After losing the first match, I took some time. I convinced myself that playing in anger is not the way to go, but to plan my strategy with a cool head. Then I started another match. This time, the mana cap was 39, and the rules set was "Fire & Regret". According to these rules, if you make a ranged attack, you will receive counter damage or damage.

After seeing this rule, I decided that I would not use any ranged or archer cards in this match. I chose Water Splinter, and my summoner was Kelya Frendul. I mainly emphasised magic and (Melee) attacks. On the other hand, my opponent chose Fire Splinter.

As soon as the match started, I saw that my strategy worked. The opponent's fire cards could not withstand the speed and armour of my water cards. Since I avoided ranged cards, the negative impact of the rules set did not affect me. In the end, I won the match very easily and got back the lost points. The peace and joy that were working in my mind after this victory cannot be expressed in words.

New Card Purchase: Increase the Power of Life Splinter

The battle is over, now let's talk about my new investment or purchase. I have been thinking about making my Life Splinter or Life deck stronger for a long time. So I bought two amazing cards after browsing the marketplace. I really like both cards, and I think they will help me a lot in high mana matches in the future.

1. Janni Rebel (Djinn):

The first card I bought is Janni Rebel. It is a legendary card with a mana cost of 9. The most special aspect of this card is its "Magic Attack" and "Inspire" abilities. It's 2 magic damage and 7 health, making it quite powerful.

However, I bought this card mainly for its "Flank" and "Inspire" abilities. Due to its Inspire ability, it will increase the power of all the melee attackers on my team. And due to its Flank, if it is in the first position, the card in the second position will also get the Reach ability. This card can begame-changerger in high mana matches.

2. Harbinger of Chaos (Orc):

The second card I bought is called Harbinger of Chaos. It is an epicard, and its mana cost is 8. The main reason for buying this card is its "Divine Shield" ability and high magic damage.

Its 3 magic attacks are capable of piercing the opponent's armour and directly reducing health. And because of the Divine Shield, it can survive without any damage for the first time. With 7 health and 2 speed, I believe this card will survive quite well on the battlefield. My life deck now feels much more balanced than before.

From this experience today, I understood once again that losing and winning in Splinterlands is part of the game. If you lose a match, don't get discouraged and learn from that mistake and apply it in the next match. And I am looking forward to playing with the two newly purchased cards. Hopefully, Janni Rebel and Harbinger of Chaos will bring me many more wins.

Those of you who are playing Splinterlands, please check the market regularly. Sometimes, good cards are available for cheap that can completely change your gameplay. Good luck, everyone. See you again in the next blog with a new experience.
