INTRO
For this week's social media challenge, I will be sharing one of my battles that showcases a well-balanced combination of rulesets. With three different rulesets in play, this battle presented a challenging and strategic gameplay, requiring careful selection of my lineup.
The battle I am sharing today had a maximum mana requirement of 56, and the allowed elements for this battle were fire, water, earth, and neutral. The battle was governed by three rulesets: reverse speed, explosive weaponry, and fire and regret. For the details of rulesets you can check on this LINK.
REVERSE SPEED
Units with lower speeds will attack before units with higher speeds. Attack Accuracy based on speed will also be reversed. Units with the Bloodlust ability will increase speed after killing a unit. Avoid using Slow as this will help your opponent.
FIRE AND REGRET
All units receive the Return Fire ability at the start of the battle. Enemy units that attack with ranged attacks receive damage back. Damage returned is equal to damage of the attacker divided by 2, rounded up. Ranged attack units with the Reflection Shield ability do not take damage from reflected magic attacks. The Amplify ability increases damage.
EXPLOSIVE WEAPONRY
All units gain the Blast ability. Additional damage is equivalent to main damage divided by 2, rounded up. Include a unit with Reflection Shield in your lineup to absorb blast damage and protect your back line.
LINE UP
In this battle both teams decided to use earth element but we choose different summoner. I picked Obsidian as my summoner and my line up are Mycelic Infantry, Uloth Dhampir, Queen Mycelia, Goblin Psychic, Runemaster Florre and Mycelic Slipspawn.
My opponent opted to use Immortalis as his summoner and his line as follows, Mycelic Infantry, Legionnaire Alvar, Goblin Psychic, Gargoya Devil, Goblin Tower, Mycelic Slipspawn.
IN BATTLE
Below are the video clip of the battle. We will see here the impact of the rulesets.
ROUND 1
ROUND 2
ROUND 3 TO 4
CONCLUSION
Here are some reason which I believe that made me win in this battle.
- 2 healer where position in the middle, 1 healer focus to heal the first position and the other heals the rear monsters.
- My 2nd position monsters have stun ability which let the target monsters not to attack for the next round if the stun effect is activated.
- My opponent 2nd position monsters does not have any contribution for attack.
- Picking Runemaster Florre that has dual damage provide advantage on my battle.
OTHER UPDATE "STAKED SPS"
The new update for SPS as collection power has already implemented and I really seeing the impact on my battles. To be honest it's very slow in acquiring chest rewards. Below is my rating and multiplier from staked SPS. With this update players has to consider acquiring both cards and SPS. With my current cards collection, I'm only touching Champion league 2, I'm still lucking of the strong cards like Dr. Blight, Lux Vega and others.
Here is the table for the multiplier from staked SPS. The goal is to be in the Champion league 1 and I think having at least 6x multiplier would be my minimum. Well for me, using SPS as a criteria for having rewards would be a good utility.
I'm leaving here my referral game for this game Splinterlands: https://splinterlands.com?ref=multicastx7
