INTRO
Consistently playing Splinterlands has leveled up my soulbound cards, which I can now use in my current league. It has proven to be very effective in my battles. This week, I will be sharing one of these soulbound cards and how I utilized it in my battle.
VENARI MARKSRAT
The monster that I will be sharing is Venari Marksrat. This monster has a low mana cost, but its abilities are quite amazing.
Venari Marksrat
LORE
Venari Marksrats speed more time in the forests than they do underground. Most of it is taken with hunting and foraging, with marksrats being the main food gatherers for the Venari colonies that inhabit the upper darks caverns of the Realm of Silence. They are incredibly agile and have honed their hunting skills to perfection.
Their crude bows are fashioned out of branches and saplings. Don't be fooled by their unrefined look, though. These skilled archers can still hit a fleeing rabbit at a hundred yards with precision. They hunt alone or in packs, and if you ever manage to spot one, you can guarantee they saw you first and have been watching you for some time.
VENARI MARKSRAT STATS AND ABILITIES
Venari Marksrat is a rare monster from the neutral element. My favorite ability of this monster is its martyr ability, which grants +1 to all stats to adjacent characters when it dies. In my opinion, this is a great ability, especially in low mana cap battles. Maxing out Venari Marksrat will give it 2 range attack, 3 speed, 4 health, and the abilities martyr, snare, and shatter.
Below is the current level of my Venari Marksrat. My Venari is still at level 6, and I'm hoping to max it out by the end of 2023.

CONCLUSION
As you can see in my battle, the required mana is 29, and the ruleset includes no legendaries, all monsters having snipe, and only monsters with below 4 mana. In this case, Venari Marksrat would be effective. The snipe ability ruleset would specifically target Venari Marksrat, causing it to be eliminated first. By doing so, you will make the adjacent monsters stronger, as they receive +1 to all stats.
Venari Marksrat is one of the monsters that I desire to have in my card collection. Its low mana cost is one of the factors that make it desirable, and its abilities are very useful when positioned and used correctly, especially in ideal rulesets.
