The Final Legendary Piece
With only one missing piece left in my collection, I turned to the legendary draws in the shop to take my chances. Fortunately, I didn’t have to go deep—the very first batch gave me the final legendary I needed! It was a huge relief because past experience taught me that these last few cards can be frustratingly elusive.
Compared to the previous Soulbound reward set, this one was much smoother to complete. The biggest difference? The new shop-based chest and draw system meant I didn’t have to rely on daily focus chests or end-of-season rewards like before. This led to fewer excess cards sitting in my collection, but also a more controlled and efficient way to target missing pieces.
What’s Left to Chase?
With my maxed Rebellion Soulbound set, I’m left wondering: What’s next?
For years, rewards in Splinterlands have been the driving force behind my engagement. But now, with the removal of DEC leaderboard rewards, things feel less enticing. The competitive chase for rewards was always a motivating factor, and without it, I’m not sure what my next in-game pursuit will be.
A Shift Towards Glint?
The team has hinted that new items and opportunities will be coming to the shop for Glint. Since I’ve been automating my Glint accumulation, I’ll likely continue stacking it up while waiting to see what new rewards become available. If something truly compelling shows up, I’ll be ready to jump in.
For now, though, the thrill of maxing out another reward set is satisfying. It’s been a long journey, but with this milestone achieved, I’ll be watching closely to see where Splinterlands takes the reward economy next.
