Actually, my top used card is the Tower Griffin. However, it's not as powerful at lower levels so I completely agree with your recommendation for the Goblin Mech!
The Tower Griffin becomes a huge asset once you are able to get it to level 5 though :).
Yeah I love how the card choices change as you A: Level them up, and B: Climb to specific rankings, it makes the game a lot more interesting
