Hey everyone! It's a Sunday today so due time to make my second Splinterlands post for this week to not miss the deadline, I've just finished my 62 kilometer cycling trip so it's a nice way to rest while typing on sitting on a chair in front of the PC.
In fact, I was busy grinding my ranked battles when I just met my Guild friend @estebam! This time I won against him but it's really 50/50 so it's always exciting when I meet him in my battles. 😁
After this fight though, the MarkBoye farm bully account came online, max level teams kicking lower level accounts - strange way to have fun but it is what it is, when this happens I quit playing because there's no fun in fighting their 5 or 6 accounts all played at once 😵 - but it was a perfect timing to get started with my post, so - here we are!
Splinterlands Community Engagement Challenge
This weeks challenge is to make a post about our favorite Conclave Arcana card, and I have a couple so I needed to scroll trough my cards, some of them are Taye Loreswift and Inept Healer, but today the star of this post is Aerial Shieldmaiden, of which I just bought the Halloween skin for. 😃

The Shieldmaiden isn't a great card until it reaches Silver level at 25 copies where it receives the Armored Strike ability, suddenly it's 2 ranged attack is increased with a second strike with it's armor of 3 but I have an Archon it has a great synergy with!
I already told this in one of my last posts, but I recently got this card as a gift from my guild friend cherokee4life and I absolutely love it, it's now already part of my standard team when I play Elias and I mix and match according to how much mana there's available and things get extra fun when the Life splinter is also available, hopefully in the new set the Water splinter gets a card with a protect ability to boost the Armored Strike.
Sharing a Battle
First look at the battlefield:
Oh I hate Lorkus teams, it's such a strong Archon! I also have a level disadvantage since this team is (close to) max level, that team doesn't stop any blast damage and my team hits hard as well... so let's see how this goes!
My Line-Up:
- Archon: Elias Max Pruitt - reason: Great Archon!
- First position: Ulundin Overseer - reason: Meat Shield with Flank.
- Second position: Commander Slade - reason: Main damage dealer and to stop blast damage.
- Third position: Venka the Vile - reason: High melee damage with Piercing.
- Fourth position: Water Divine - reason: Opportunity with magic, let the blast do it's thing!
- Fifth position: Anasth Soothsayer - reason: Tank heal.
- Sixth position: Aerial Shieldmaiden - reason: Because it's awesome, just you watch! 😁
The Battle:
Round 1: Wow that was a good start! My tank is gone as well so that's not great, Slade will now get his armor damaged and that's his best source of damage...
Round 2: Damn that was fast! Well it's clear now, Lorkus won't win this fight! 😁
Round 3: Slade finished the job by killing the last enemy card, but the Shieldmaiden definitely did a good job by targeting the soft targets, especially with the Blast added.

Ohhh, that armoured strike is fierce! Esp in explosive weaponry. I gotta get my archons higher before I start leveling up cards though. ><
