Splinterlands Social Media Challenge: Is Abyssal the Key to Victory for Water Decks?

A. Magic combination are serious strength in the game

Lorkus fell into a trap with this battle. The fire elemental warrior had no idea what was waiting on the other side of the board.

The magic combo with resurrection and healing is a solid formation considering that the opposition does not hold a secret weapon against your magic strategies.

In the low league style of combat, a resurrecting warrior boosted with healing ability is enough to create a serious shift of power from one side to the other part of the board.

The ruleset prevented archers to enter the arena. The battlefield was filled with melee and magic warriors. If the magic attacks dominate the combat, the selection of defensive measure against magic is a key factor to any fighter expecting to win the battle.

It was well played, with Cryptic summoner commanding a line-up of water and neutral warrior.

Abyssal performed very well in this combat against a low league adversary who might not be at the top of his game in this battle. it is time to challenge the courage of Abyssal against higher league fighters in Splinterlands.

B. Abyssal faced harsh reality on the battlefield

When I was exploring the performance of Abyssal in the arena I found that the composition of the lineup where Abyssal found himself was not a the top. However it is a real situation analysis to collect valuable data through the learning process.

First battle lost due to the no respect of the magic reflection present in the rulesets

Abyssal team in this combat had one of the most powerful summoner in the game.

He was facing fire team with no serious defense against magic attack, but the ruleset information should orient the selection of the warriors toward melee and range cards.

It was not the case for the Dragon water team who suffered from her own attacks backfiring to the weakened position under heavy attacks from the fire team.

The opposition could not defense his position against the assault of the opposite side.

C. Recapitulation

I found that the presence of Abyssal in the water team may limit his assess to powerful healer and summoner cheap from Arcana Conclave.
