It's unbelievable how fast time flies. Splinterlands is already celebrating its sixth birthday, making it one of the oldest Web 3 players ever. But I've also been playing for almost two years now and in this article I'm going to talk about the birthday as well as the latest news in the game.

Splinterlands celebrates its sixth birthday
Right at the start of the birthday celebrations there is a great promotion.
335 Rebellion booster packs (retail value: approx. 1,340 $) will be raffled off to 120 participants. The conditions of participation are: Anniversary posts share, like and comment on the anniversary posts
For my part, I did this straight away and now hope to win at least a few packs.
At the end of the birthday celebrations, there will be another really big deal. There will be the biggest Splinterlands tournament of the year. This will include really incredible prizes.
1st Place: Runi + 5 plots + 1,000,000 DEC
2nd Place: Runi + 4 Plots + 500,000 DEC
3rd Place: 4 Plots + 45,000 DEC
4th-10th Place: 1 Plot + 20,000 DEC
11th to 47th Place: 7,000 DEC + 2 Rebellion Packs
48th to 61st Place: 4,000 DEC + 1 Rebellion Pack
62nd to 138th Place: 1 Rebellion Pack
For my part, I will rent everything for the tournament that can somehow help my deck to place as solidly as possible. But of course the competition at this tournament will be huge.
Lorkus enters the battlefield
This week the Lorkus Air Drop has been distributed and everyone who has collected 300 chances in the Conflict has received at least one card.
With 327 chances, I clearly overcame this hurdle and received a safe card. Unfortunately, I wasn't lucky with the chances and didn't get another card. That's why I only have one Lorkus card after the air drop.
Whether I buy more Lorkus cards will depend on the price development. At the moment I think the card is a bit too expensive at well over 20 dollars and I'll wait and see how the price develops.
The CRYPTIC Air Drop starts!
The CRYPTIC Air Drop starts directly after the Lorkus Air Drop. Here you will get one card for every 325 chances. Since I already had 327 chances in the last Air Drop, I'm sure to get a card here too.
I have also purchased an additional Battle Wagon and will be staking five more cards for the upcoming conflicts.
Cryptic will also become a legendary summoner and bring extremely powerful abilities.

Expansions in Land
Finally, I'm pleased that there are new expansions in Land.
The Tradehub has created an easy way to exchange DEC for Grain or vice versa.
In my opinion, this possibility has been missing for a long time and closes an important gap. I bought my second plot for Splinterlands' birthday party and can now produce Grain and SPS at the same time.
If I have good luck in the tournament, I'll buy another plot.

es ist unglaublich wie schnell die Zeit vergeht. Splinterlands feiert bereits seinen sechsten Geburtstag und ist damit eines der ältesten Web 3 Spieler überhaupt. Aber auch ich bin nun schon fast zwei Jahre dabei und gehe in diesen Beitrag sowohl auf den Geburtstag, als auch auf die letzten Neuigkeiten im Spiel ein.

Splinterlands feiert seinen sechsten Geburtstag
Direkt zum Start der Geburtstagsfeier gibt es eine sehr tolle Aktion.
Es werden 335 Rebellion-Booster-Packs (Einzelhandelswert: ca. 1.340 $) an 120 Teilnehmer verlost. Die Teilnahmebedingungen sind: Jubiläums-Posts teile, like und kommentiere die Jubiläums-Posts
Ich für meinen Teil habe das direkt erledigt und hoffe nun, zumindest ein paar Packs zu gewinnen.
Zum Ende der Geburtstagsfeier gibt es dann nochmal einen wirklichen Hammer. Es wird das größte Splinterlands Turnier des Jahres geben. Dieses wird wirklich unglaubliche Preise enthalten.

Ich für meinen Teil, werde für das Turnier alles zusammen mieten was meinem Deck irgendwie helfen kann um mich möglichst solide zu platzieren. Aber natürlich wird auch die Konkurrenz bei diesem Turnier riesig sein.
Lorkus betritt das Schlachtfeld
Diese Woche ist der Lorkus Air Drop verteilt worden und jeder der im Conflict 300 Chancen gesammelt hat, hat mindestens eine Karte erhalten.
Mit 327 Chancen habe ich diese Hürde deutlich übersprungen und eine sichere Karte erhalten. Leider hatte ich mit den Chancen kein Glück und habe keine weitere Karte erhalten. Daher besitze ich nach dem Air Drop nur eine Lorkus Karte.
Ob ich weitere Lorkus Karten hinzukaufe wird von der Preisentwicklung abhängig sein. Aktuell finde ich die Karte mit deutlich über 20 Dollar etwas zu teuer und warte ab wie sich der Preis entwickelt.

Direkt nachdem Lorkus Air Drop startet der CRYPTIC Air Drop. Hier wird man für je 325 Chancen eine Karte sicher erhalten. Da ich schon beim letzten Air Drop 327 Chancen hatte werde ich also auch hier eine Karte sicher erhalten.
Des Weiteren habe ich einen zusätzlichen Battle Wagon erworben und werde fünf weitere Karten für die kommenden Konflikte staken.
Auch Cryptic wird ein legendärer Beschwörer werden und extrem starke Fähigkeiten mitbringen.

Erweiterungen in Land
Zuletzt freut es mich, dass es in Land neue Erweiterungen gibt.
Mit dem Tradehub ist eine einfache Möglichkeit geschaffen worden DEC in Grain oder anders rum zu tauschen.
Diese Möglichkeit hat aus meiner Sicht lange gefehlt und schließt eine wichtige Lücke. Zur Geburtstagsfeier von Splinterlands habe ich mir meinen zweiten Plot gekauft und kann nun Grain und SPS zeitgleich produzieren.
Wenn ich viel Glück im Turnier habe, dann werde ich mir noch einen weiteren Plot kaufen.
