I disagree with that proposal. $50k is a lot. I don't even make $20k per year before taxes. There are many countries where $50k per year is very rare. This proposal feels like a way to just give money to a friend of the team. I don't want to pay nearly this much for this nor I want someone handpicked by the team instead of going for a more regular job posting where several good candidates are interviewed.
The team has already burned money in many ways over the past 2 years when it should have been much more careful. Now we're allowing the team to make the same mistake, this time with the DAO's funds.
