Hello everyone! This is my second entry for this week's Splinterlands Social Media Challenge. Today, I'm sharing a battle of mine in Modern Diamond Ranked.
I fought an interesting battle in Modern Diamond ranked. In this game, I battled against Eternal Tofu. Tofu is a Rebellion legendary summoner and it was one of the airdrop cards. It was the fourth one and I quickly purchased 10 copies to max out (I received one from the airdrop). This is a dual splinter summoner for Earth and Life. It's a very strong card that increased in value ever since it was released. I wish I had bought more copies!

As for the stats and abilities, it buffs the whole enemy team with +2 HP and also provides it Snare and Thorns. Players can choose two different tactics. The first one gives Divine Shield and Corrosive Ward to up to three targets. The second one gives Triage and Scavenger to one target. Both Tactics are great. The synergy between Thorns and Divine Shield is great but Corrosive Ward doesn't fall behind. The fact that Corrosive Ward happens before Thorns, means that a unit with 1 or 2 armor will lose its armor and take the Thorns damage after. But Triage and Scavenger also work well with Thorns. The same applies to the +2 HP. It's only the Snare that is a bit out of place. I like the art, although there are some people that don't. I think it's because it's the third cute animal legendary summoner that is very strong (Lily Shieldpaw and Byzantine Kitty are the other two but Lily isn't as good as the other two).

This game had the following rule set: Weak Magic. The mana cap was 14, with only Fire, Earth, and Dragon available. I picked Quix the Devious and placed Halfling Refugee in front. I followed it up with Blackmoor Nymph and Lurking Puffer. I put Naga Assassin and Acid Shooter next and finished the team with Fungus Fiend. They opted for Eternal Tofu and also used Halfling Refugee as their first unit. Chaos Agent and Venator Kinjo were next and the last 3 were ranged units: Blackmoor Jinx, Elanor Bravefoot, and Acid Shooter. They gave Scavenger and Triage to Acid Shooter.

Round 1
I had the speed advantage and took out their Refugee before they could attack with any unit. They dealt very little damage and didn't trigger the Poison with their Shooter.

Round 2
Chaos Agent Dodged one of my attacks but my Halfling hit and took it out. They didn't Poison again.

Round 3
I eliminated the Kinjo but my Refugee got Exhausted and didn't attack. However, they failed to kill it, because of a miss.

Round 4
This time my Refugee attacked and finished their Jinx. Their Shooter hit my Fiend and Poisoned it, so it died.

Rounds 5, 6 and 7
Elanor didn't last long and it was only their Shooter left, with a lot of HP but unable to attack. The game ended in round 7

Tofu is amazing but Thorns doesn't do anything to non-melee units. I only had 2 on my team and one of them didn't attack because it was in the back. On the other hand, I had the speed advantage and I was nerfing 3 of their attackers with the -1 to ranged attacks. My team ended up being amazing against theirs, and that's why I won.

What do you all think about this game? Would you have done anything different? Let me know in the comments! Thank you for reading!!

Defeating Tofu shows you have experience of building the best strategy under the given fight conditions. Low mana limit fight can get tricky.
Cheers!
Thank you!
