PeakMonsters Update – Unbinding Conclave Arcana Reward Cards
Earlier this week we rolled out full support for the Conclave Arcana reward card set on PeakMonsters. That update ensured that cards from the new edition (Edition 18) show up properly in searches, filters and the market. It also prepared our interface for the Arcana‑specific unbinding mechanic introduced by Splinterlands.
What’s new
- Unbinding from PeakMonsters: Select a soulbound Arcana reward card and click Unbind to start the release process. You’ll see a confirmation modal that calculates the scrolls required and links into Splinterlands’ unbinding flow.
- Edition‑aware filters: Bound/unbound filters and edition icons now recognize Conclave Arcana.
- Visual tweaks: We’ve made small improvements to help identify which edition a card comes from in your collection.

Unbinding basics
- Scrolls, not DEC: To unbind a standard‑foil Arcana card you need an unbinding scroll matching the card’s rarity. Gold and black foils drop already unbound.
- Burns for Glint: Reminder that Arcana Reward cards burn for Glint rather than DEC.
- Where to get scrolls: You can purchase unbinding scrolls on the PeakMonsters Assets Market. Look under the “Items” category for the scroll corresponding to your card’s rarity.
How this update came about
Shortly after the Arcana update went live, a conversation started in our #peakmonsters-com discord channel. One user, sorryismurf, pointed out that unbinding through the Splinterlands UI requires selecting each card individually — making it tedious to release multiple cards (“12 common cards, 12 times… 12 rare cards, total 24 times…”). They asked whether PeakMonsters could streamline the process. In response, @JARVIE asked the community whether unbinding was something many players needed, noting that implementing it would require some work and we wanted to prioritise features that impact day‑to‑day operations across editions.
Several users chimed in. They explained that they intended to unbind cards for months to come, either to consolidate assets or to accelerate building their main accounts. This feedback signaled that the need wasn’t just a one‑off request but an ongoing requirement. Based on that input, our developers added an option to unbind soulbound CA reward cards directly from the PeakMonsters interface. Asgarth announced the small update in the thread and invited further feedback, which has been positive so far.
We love to see feature requests turn into real improvements. Keep the feedback coming!
