Get the Stun on Heavy Hitter Ruleset! | Splinterlands Battle Mage Secret Challenge

Hello everyone, welcome back to Ramadhanight's Hive Blog on Splinterlands Weekly Battle Mage Secrets Challenge's Session. For this week Battle Challenge, there is Heavy Hitter Ruleset that cause stunned monster will receive double damage from enemies. This mean monster with stun will be very valuable, and so the immune monster. I'm trying to bring a stunner on tight mana ruleset, can my strategy worked ? Let's see how it goes !

Battle of The Week

Here is my formation for the battle :

Rules set:

Aimless : All monster have scattershot ability
Heavy Hitter : All monster that on stun condition will take double damage
23 mana cap: medium low mana cap, need to carefully pick the team
Splinter available : All splinter except for fire and light is available

My Lineup's Explanation :

Position	Card	Ability	Strategy
Summoners		Phase	Cheap summoner to unleash the dragons. Usefull against low speed magician as well.
Tanker		Thorn, Enrage, True Strike	Solid tank with 10 health and 6 armor. Could hurt enemies with the thorn, and could deal massive true strike damage with the enrage on him. The enrage would improve the chance to evade all magic as well.
2nd Monster		Reach, Stun	With the heavy hitter, his stun is very usefull. With reach ability, he could attack from 2nd position
3rd Monster		-	As decoy to waste enemies attack with opportunity ability or when the front monster is eliminated.
4th Monster		scavenger	Another decoy to waste enemies attack, especially if there is sniper. Could bulk high hp as well with the scaveger ability.
5th Monster		Triage	With just 3 mana cost, could give 2 range damage and triage ability is pretty good as backline monster.
6th Monster		Backfire, Swiftness	Help team with +1 speed buff, and could hurt the sneaker with the backfire ability.

The battle scene are also explained below:

At the end of 1st round, my enemy lose his tanker, while my team still at complete. 6 vs 2 situation for my team.

At the end of 2nd round, my enemy's main hitter is eliminated, which left him with just a monster with no damage, pfft.

At the end of 3rd round, my enemy already lose all monster and I got my easy victory.

What Should We Get :
There is 2 ability that having more value on this ruleset. First the stun itself, we could get double damage if enemies are stunned, so stun ability is very important. Don't forget to focus your damage to the stunned monster. The second ability which is important is immunity, because it can counter the stun since they won't effect the monster with immunity.

What Should We Avoid: Avoid using monster with the taunt ability, because once it's stunned, then everyone will hit the monster hard. You can use the taunt if they had the immunity. Avoid having less monster, because if you have stunner but nobody help hit the stunned enemies, then the stun mean nothing rather just the usual stun.

What would i do next ?

Well, if the mana cap is high, it would be interesting to bring stunner and combined it with some double strike monster to give quadrouple (4x) damage !

Conclussion

With no heal ruleset, it will be easier to eliminate enemies, focus on trying giving damage on 1 monster, while trying having ability to survive with evading or life leech and the scavenger. And don't forget to take a look at the other ruleset!
