Hello everyone, welcome back to Ramadhanight's Hive Blog on Splinterlands Social Media Challenge. As I try to climb higher on ranked battle, I try to upgrade my squad again by renting new cards and spend the glint to improve my reward cards, let's see what I got !

Keep Improving on Each Season !

I try to increase my squad on every season. This is because I want to climb into higher tier on the modern league format. The way I do for improving my squad is by doing 2 things :
#1. Rent More Cards.
#2. Get More Reward Cards by Spending the Glint

I personally think both are very important,
Since most of cards are coming from the pack can't get them by spending the glint, we need to buy the cards or simply rent them from the market.

Below is my current rental condition. It's more than 2k DEC/day or around 30k DEC/season.

Here the cards as addition that I got this season. I chose them because based on my previous season, my enemies often get a win condition

Venka with massive physical damage that can attack from the back, and Kelan with his double strike

The fire duo which is very good combination.

And some other cards that help to improve my strategy.

Not just the card from the market, the reward cards are also important. I often lose simply because I have lower reward cards.

Here is 1 match where both team thinking about using the exact same monster, but my side is lost simply because my monsters having lower stats while my enemy already maxed it's reward cards

And here is the 2 monsters that I aim to max out very soon since they are very important in my strategy.

Try To Improve the Squad Through Glint Shop

Now since I need more reward cards, I chose to spent my glint to level up my squad in order to have battle this season.

100 major chest is my priority because I think major chest is the best to get the rewards. It's not cost too much and you can save some potions because each chest often gave more than 1 copy of cards.

Here is the result. I got 7 commander slade which is quite good, but no arborist here. I also get some epic cards !

Then I go with 100 common chest, but not having the cards that I'm looking for. Not a good pull

Next I go for 10 ultimate chest. Got some epic card which is great, but not looking for a cards that I'm looking for, so it's not really good.

Not Enough For Upgrade the Target Card, Let's Do Another Pull!

I think after all those chest, I can finally maxed the Commander Slade and Dark Arborist, but not 😅

Try another ultimate chest, but not found the commander slade again. But this time I got 2 bcx of a legendary card (which I got the GF last season).

I go with another major draw and bought all the batch 1 left and guess what ? No commander slade and dark arborist at all !

Now I go to buy all the minor draw left for batch 1, and only get 2 commander slade and 1 dark arborist.

After bought all batch 1 of minor and major chest, plus 20 ultimate chest, I still need 4 Commander Slade to max it out !

For the Dark Arborist, it's still 8 cards left 😅

Upgrade What I Can Upgrade

After so many chest, there is no way no one can be upgraded, right ? Especially I got some epic cards. I upgrade lots of cards but I will only give review for the remarkable upgrade.

First I got the Kha'zi Conjurer that can be upgraded into 3rd level. He got piercing ability which is good to help his high damage hit through enemies armor. He also get 1 health addition !

Next I got the Continuum Seer that can be maxed out ! She got very nice 1 magic damage addition and 1 speed to sync her phase and backfire ability ! Would be a beast on the equal health ruleset !

Janni Rebel also can be max out and she get divine shield plus 1 health addition to make her hp into 12 (this mean she can regen 4 health each round with the heal support !)

Last there is Drybone Hobgoblin which suprisingly get a shatter ability ! I think it's a nice upgrade because most common got the last ability on max level. Would be usefull on little league against high armor enemies !

What's Next ?

I'm nearly get my max commander slade with just 4 bcx left, and dark arborist with 8 bcx left. What do you think I should do ? I love mahor chest but I think it's a waste to buy with higher price cause the 1st batch is sold out, but I also got some rare on max level so rare draw could be waste as well (I know we can sell the rewards but it required resources to unbound them).
