Time flies! Just completed the 233rd brawl with my awesome guild, which is none other than Pizza 2 The Deep Dish!
- Fun In The Discord Chats
Really appreciated the interaction in the Discord chats within the Pizza guilds. During the preparation phase, there's a lot of information sharing and discussion on who to fill each fray. During the brawls, there were reminders to members to complete their brawl battles. And after the brawls, there were celebratory messages and some members (including me) would write about our experience in the brawls. Aside from brawls, I thought the donations were also very well organised and tabulated, with lucky draws to incentivise donors as well.
- Moving Back To Bronze Fray
Had 8 battles this time and it was not an easy round, especially when they have recently introduced 3 rulesets for each battle. Moreover, I have rented out most of my cards because I was playing lesser these days.
- We Got 6th!!!
So for the final result, we were 6th out of 10 guilds and got 450 Merits and around 14 SPS! A good bag of SPS! Who knows how much one SPS would go to in this market?
Individually, I had 8 fights this time and I won 6 of them this time! Finished 4th within the guild. Due to change in format, wins are actually awarded to the players present in the fray if guilds decided to skip the fray. For this round, there were 1 additional win for me.
Battle 1 - LOSE
Gladius Card Used: Kotriphus Bayne
Wow I haven't seen Shieldbearer in battles for a long time! Despite using a Taunt card in this ruleset, my opponent still overpowered my decent lineup! I can only say the opposing Marisol Contuma did a lot of heavy lifting and my team just didn't have a MVP worthy card this time.

Battle 2 - WIN
Gladius Card Used: Gorth and Chimney Wallstop
For Poison battles like these, having cards with Immunity makes a whole lot of difference. For this battle, both teams were pretty evenly matched but eventually having Forgotten One meant I managed to outlast the rounds of Poison damage.

Battle 5 - WIN
Gladius Card Used: Isgald Vorst
A lot of Sneak and Opportunity hits flying across both teams as both backlines got hunted down. That left Sea Monster holding the fort upfront with Coastal Sentry dealing the most amount of damage from Reach. Fortunately, I had the higher damage output for this battle so I managed to take the win.

Battle 6 - WIN
Another opponent fled!? 3 free wins and we will take them of course!
Battle 7 - WIN
Gladius Card Used: Chimney Wallstop
The battle had the more restrictive lineups, and I was actually not optimistic when I saw Katrelba Gobson on the opposite side. Fortunately I had enough Sneak cards to take her out quickly and it was Sand Worm that did well with the 5 Melee damage.

Battle 8 - LOSE
Gladius Card Used: Sola Ranjell
This was such a lousy battle to lose because of the Reckless ruleset. I was on the verge of winning but my opponent had Kron The Undying and my entire team went down to just 1 card. Sigh. I need some tips on how to play this interesting yet tricky ruleset.

So that sums up my 8 battles for this brawl! 75% win rate, not too bad, but will do better next round!
